They don't even let you subscribe to 365 days for RM60. They can change the name to Super Short Life. |

Guys, you have to update your plan to the latest version of Best. After that, you can subscribe to the one year validity under Super Long Life. Otherwise, DG will forfeit your life.

OK so i spent some time with it.
apparently you have to manually activate the update, so i updated from OLD to NEW Best prepaid with the cost of RM3.00. they still charge for this shit. use *128*1*4# then got option to change plan then only i activated the rm30 (365days) super long life thing. getting more and more complicated. |

Yes..Super Long Life(SLL) STILL VALID...just re-activated just now. Just that u need to first pay rm3 for the transfer/ activate plan..u know...the kind they want to squeeze another few bucks from ya..but cannot come up wth a better excuse, so nicknamed it 'transfer plan' whatever the crap that suits them..really cheapskate. Anyway still rm30 for 365 days. So yes u need to have at least rm33 to activate Super Long Life (RM3 for that crap + RM30 for SLL).

Wondering why people still paying money to provider D to get super long life where provider T is giving 365 days validity for FREE with top up as low as RM10?

QUOTE(dgboy @ Sep 13 2013, 06:04 PM) I have been loyal to D for 10 years. But recent few years really tak boleh tahan the service they provide.D have cheaper rates than T? This one I'm not sure cause I totally gave up on D. I just know T charge RM0.20 per min, but with 1 to 1 reload bonus, my actual cost is RM0.10 per min to all local networks. This rate is acceptable to me as a prepaid customer. However, does cheap rate really matters? I thought people who interest in long validity should be those who seldom makes calls (that's why they always can't use up their talktime credit and hope for a longer validity with their limited top ups). By the way, D have big share in T. Probably someday when T becomes popular, T will do what D is doing. That time I will have to port out from T and find other alphabet. |

Shit. I'm kinda outdated. Thought 365 days validity is the longest but I see other forumers mention about F with LIFETIME VALIDITY!
If got chance I'll get one for my mum. Call rate may not be the cheapest but the lifetime validity really draw my interest. |

@gavin_lim
Care to explain on 1 to 1 reload bonus? From the T website, I see 20% bonus if top up RM50. I sense most people prefer to stick with the devil they know. Probably, those light users have got used to paying RM30 for a year's validity, and consider that less risky than opting for an unknown operator that might shut down tomorrow. And, I'm outdated on T's rates. Have just revisited their website. I like the RM1/day for 30MB internet. This post has been edited by dgboy: Sep 14 2013, 04:40 PM |

i call digi call center to confirm.
if you want to get Digi Super Long Life 365 this is what you need: 1. You must be on "New DiGi Best Prepaid" If not you can change plan by call *128*1*4# RM3.00 per change (cant change bacl after that) 2. You must have minimum credit of RM35.00 Once you confim 1 & 2 is fulfilled. Now you will see super long life 365 days option: to buy Call *128*1*7*3# i just bought it and its confirm still available. |

You do the first RM50 to get 2-year validity, then top up RM30 which confirms it. Then that RM30 is for you to use lah, it doesn't expire (and Celcom gets 2-years of interest on that amount kakakaka) |

QUOTE(axxer @ Sep 29 2014, 03:25 PM) no, celcom just need to reload minimum rm30 within six month after subscribe the one year or two years validity, not every six months QUOTE(tishaban @ Sep 30 2014, 10:34 AM) axxer is correct. You do the first RM50 to get 2-year validity, then top up RM30 which confirms it. Then that RM30 is for you to use lah, it doesn't expire (and Celcom gets 2-years of interest on that amount kakakaka) Yes, I googled the Celcom TnC which I agree with both of you... |

I'm on Digi Best Prepaid v3. Now wanna subscribe to Super Long Life. As usual, SLL is not available. Now have to change plan to Best Traveler before can subscribe to SLL. What is this nonsense... so SLL actually costs RM33 becos we always need to change to some other plan before we can use it.

Current plan is Best Prepaid V3, do I hv to change to V4 to enjoy SLL?in fact, my credit already expired, I wondered if that would affect in subscribing SLL but I stil have RM50+ balance. Anyways, hv requested credit transfer from a friend but still can't find SLL subscription! |

Hi, my credit has expired but I would like to subscribe to SLL. Do I have to reload to activate my account before being able to do that?
I tried using Talktime Advance so that I can get 2 days validity but seems like not allowed even though I have more than RM2 in my account. Any reason why? Because account deactivated? I'm currently using Digi Best Prepaid V3. Is SLL still available with this plan? Any recommended best way to go about this? I'm thinking of purchasing Talktime Transfer from LYN, then maybe change plan ( if required ) then subscribe to SLL. |

This is the 2nd year having the same problem. When want to renew Super Long Life, the option is not there. Have to change to new plan first. And get charged RM3 for the change.
This time I was told must change to Digi Best Traveller. But the plan name listed is actually Digi Best Prepaid v4. Previously was v3. The Helpline says there is no difference between the plans, eg call charges etc. So what is the point to change? Just to get back the SLL. Yes, Digi probably did upgrades etc, but its like they just change the plan name and then take away SLL from the old one. It is unfair that Digi "forces" us to change plan and charge us for it to get back the SLL option that was already there previously. I called Helpline and complained and request for RM3 refund. i did the same thing last year and got it. Everyone should do it. |

Digi Super Long Life are only available on Digi Best Prepaid V4.
Do check with your current plan by *128*1*4# If you are Digi Best Prepaid V3 and below, you need to upgrade to V4 to enjoy this service. By the way, any difference between this 2 version beside super long life? |

Has been using my digi prepaid as a spare for few years dy. Previously I subscribe SLL and after the expiration, will just top up once a while with minimum RM10 reload.
I just notice that my plan is digi best prepaid v1 and only able to subscribe RM5 for 30days plan. I have the option to upgrade to V3 or V4. Can someone enlighten me what's the diff btw the V1 vs V3 vs V4? Thanks. |

Below are the facts for those who wanted to call up Digi and make a big hoo-ha to them.
- Digi stated on their website "Super Long Life is available to Digi Best Prepaid subscriber only" http://new.digi.com.my/ecomm_C/services/de...d#1403295584933 I already have Best Prepaid SIM, question them why do I need to upgrade to newer version and get charge for RM3 ??? - Digi forces us to change to new version then charge us to get back Super Long Life option which was already there previously. This is terrible and rip-off! - I want my refund! Else I will file a complaint to CFM (Consumer Forum Malaysia) Call our 24-hour Customer Service Helpline at 016 2211 800 for FREE. So what really is the difference between DiGi Best Prepaid v3 & DiGi Best Prepaid v4?
I'm currently on v3, any changes in call & SMS charges if I move to v4? And also any issues with the favourite numbers if I move to v4? |

Hi all,
I've faced the same "SLL only available after forced upgrade to latest version plan for RM3" issue for the past few years, and this year I decided to report this dishonest practice to SKMM, and I hope u guys do so too, to let SKMM know many are affected, and also to let Digi know of our displeasure, and hopefully drop this practice, as the SKMM report will give them extra manual work to resolve the issue. Ok, here's what I did: Make sure u first call up Digi to complain about this issue so that they'll have a record that u've complained but no remedy/refund provided. Then goto aduan.skmm.gov.my and click on "New Complaint" on the upper right and fill up all the details. In my SKMM report, I claim that Digi is cheating customers by supposedly offering 365 days of validity at RM30, which appears cheaper than the same service from its competitor, Maxis, Validity 365 at RM33, yet I can't choose the SLL option without 1st paying another RM3 to upgrade, and this happened almost every yr. So, I end up paying RM33 yet Digi gets to appear offering this service at a more competitive price than its competitor, Maxis. For the Remedy section, I ask for the RM3 for the past 5 yrs be refunded, and Digi fined for such dishonesty. Later, a lady from Digi called me up regarding this issue, and kept stressing that I couldn't compare the SLL plan with that of Maxis, and that I voluntarily chose to upgrade blah3, and quoted me the terms & conditions blah3, and that she would fwd this issue to marketing dept to consider, etc. Then she offered to give me a RM10 credit, and stressed that it's a one-off GOODWILL for a long-time customer, and NOT a REFUND. One doesn't get back much in monetary terms, and takes up some time to do, but we need to get the message across, or else the same issue will repeat in the future. Ok, I've done my part, now pls do yours. |

For those only see the one month Super Long Life RM 5, thats mean u guys are under old plan.. SLL is only created for highest/updated plan which is currently Best Prepaid V4.. can call *128*1*4# to change to best v4( there will be charge RM 3/5 depends on which legacy plan u are using at the moment)
Once done with the call plan, u guys can subscribe SLL for 1 year validity, thanks |

QUOTE(exadeafs @ May 12 2014, 02:39 PM) i call digi call center to confirm. So the minimum credit I must have is RM35, then only the 365 days will appear?if you want to get Digi Super Long Life 365 this is what you need: 1. |

Can I activate 365 then change plan to Smart Prepaid which has free basic internet?apparently you have to manually activate the update, so i updated from OLD to NEW Best prepaid with the cost of RM3.00. they still charge for this shit. use *128*1*4# then got option to change plan then only i activated the rm30 (365days) super long life thing. getting more and more complicated. |

Only this is found in digi FAQ website mentioned under Digi Smart Prepaid.
Q9 : I am currently subscribing to IDD Internet Club (IIC), can I subscribe to the new RM1/RM6/RM16 Internet Unlimited (IU)? A9 : New IU RM1/RM6/RM16 are not available for IIC subscriber until further notice. IIC subscriber can only subscribe to the new IU after opt-out from IIC. QUOTE(LOOOOOOL @ Sep 21 2015, 12:01 PM) then how to change to new best prepaid plan? From the FAQ:there a note saying: Please select your rate plan carefully as you will only be able to change plans three (3) months after your switch to DiGi is successful. http://new.digi.com.my/Page/products/default/all_prepaid - under Purchasing / Activating Digi New Best Prepaid (CoP) I am an existing Digi Prepaid subscriber, can I change to Digi New Best Prepaid and maintain my current mobile number? Yes, all existing Digi Prepaid subscribers may change to Digi New Best v1. To change your plan, just dial *128*1*4# and RM3 will be charged from main balance. (MNP) I am not a Digi subscriber, can I switch to Digi New Best Prepaid and maintain my current mobile number? MNP is possible, to Digi New Best MNP. The option should be there somewhere, otherwise contact their Customer Service? |

QUOTE(RDoe @ Sep 30 2015, 11:04 AM) That's a post from over 2 years ago, that you've replied to. I remember when I sign up Super Long Life on 1st of September still RM30, they just raised the price a short while ago? Anyway, it's now RM38 for the 365 days validity, and in order to see this option, the SIM card needs to have a minimum of RM43 credit balance. ![]() |

QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Sep 20 2015, 01:10 PM) Hmm I just faced this problem as well, I have RM52++ credit inside but I don't see any "long life" under *128*1*7# menu. Thanks for the info. Able to upgrade my plan to DiGi New Best v1 and active Super Long Life. So total is RM41. Increase so much now.. I'm however on DiGi Best Prepaid v3 though. But under *128*1*4# I only see change plan to "Digi New Best v1" and "Digi Smart Prepaid". Update: Just called DiGi CS and "DiGi Best Prepaid v4" is no longer applicable (only for existing subscribers). My only option as per their advise, is to upgrade to "DiGi New Best v1", which they quoted to have slightly cheaper rates (I'm not even sure what's the current rate as this is my mom's number The upgrade is done via *128*1*4# and will be charged RM3. After that, I can see the "Super Long Life" option under *128*1*7# menu which will cost me another RM38 for it. |

Past 2 years had to pay RM3 to upgrade plan before getting SLL again. Both years got refunde after complaining. I thought will have same problem again this year. But this year no need to upgrade from Best Prepaid v4 to get the SLL.
But then I just found out that SLL has increased from RM30 to RM38. So still have to pay extra to get SLL. Over 25% increase for what? We key in the SLL codes and send and the system just updates our records with a new expiry date. All the system is already there. Why such a high increase in price? Why does MCMC allow this? Made a complaint to Digi about it. Then found out the newer plan New Best v1 seems to have cheaper rates. So may have to end up changing plan and paying RM3 again anyway. I wonder if next year again the cycle will start v1, v2, v3... |

Just to follow up. Got a call back from a manager and made my complaint and feedback again about SLL increase. Got usual reply saying will put in a report to Marketing Dept etc etc. Don't think anything will be done though. However, since this year V4 can still do SLL without upgrade, it may be due to many complaints from users previously about it. Who knows.
So, I suggest and hope that all users can just call the Helpline and make a complaint about not being happy with the increase from RM30 to RM38. Ask them to open a report and feedback to the management. I think only if they get lots and lots of complaints is there a small chance things may change. I hope you will take a few minutes to do it. |

I had to purchase the upgrade to v4 (from v3) to subscribe to the yearly SLL plan. Its a cheap trick to another few ringgit from SLL users. I probably mnp to Tron instead of purchasing v5 later on.

QUOTE(digilife @ Mar 1 2016, 06:32 PM) If its just for extended active validity , why not just port to XOX to get the FREE 28mths or 840days at no extra cost. Does any top ups for XOX last as long as the extended validity period? So if I top up RM10, it will last for 28months if I don't make any calls/sms/internet? |

Usually I advice users to topup rm50 so that I can get MNP incentive [ because I dun ask for service charge for MNP ] & they can use the credit to buy Season Pack for voice & data, eg rm22.00 for 220mins to all local telcos voice calls during that 28mths active period using the reloaded credit. Its a win win situation for everyone. This post has been edited by digilife: Mar 2 2016, 01:38 PM |

But bear in mind that they might just remove SLL for MNP V1 Best in the future as well. Seems like SLL is not worth continuing for telcos.

DIGI is a real big cheater. I hv been using prepaid DIGI since 1996 with Super Long Life, and now they tell me I can't go on 365 day because I have changed to the V1. I still have hotlink and Celcom prepaid line with 1 year & 2 years long life package, even though the package is not available now and has been discontinued, replaced with Hotlink FAST and MAGIC SIM.
Both Hotlink & Celcom still honour the old package until today, unlike DIGI which couldn't care less and just changed the old package whenever they like. I'm am porting out from DIGI and hope other will do the same. Stupid DIGI. |

Honestly, over the years i don't know how my package ended up as DIGI Best Prepaid V2. V2 does not have SLL and you can't change to V1 to enjoy SLL. That is where i am stuck. My point is DIGI should be responsible enough in inform long term customers of the changes in the plan, and should not short change them by removing SLL.

What I am trying to point out is that if we have signed up any telco prepaid package with SLL, then we should continue to enjoy it until we decide to terminate. The Old(Celcom and Hotlink) still have SLL, even though it has been discontinued and replaced with new prepaid packages. DIGI, on the other hand, can change the package at their whim and fancies and that is not ethical. For those who are on Digi Best Prepaid V1, don't be surprised that one day there won't be SLL. If it happens, that is pure cheating customer and DIGi has done it and capable of doing it. It it the only Telco in Malaysia doing it now. |

[ key in *128*1*7*3*2# ] If you activated a new V1 sim { only via MNP now } , first subscribe to IDD Club which gives you 64kbps FREE basic internet then only subscribe to SLL. I knoe a lot of users wanted SLL with FREE basic internet for some other purpose , And the FREE Basic internet is faster than Maxis #Hotlink , Celcom MagicSIM & UM basic internet too , |

FREE basic internet on DG,Hotlink,MagicSim & Umobile compared.
Which is the fastest ? Social apps like Whatsapp & Wechat get through instantly, FB can load but pictures come up slow & email notification can come in on time. Which telco pass this test ? |

If UM FREE Highspeed internet = sure pass but that is valid only for the amt of RM to Days only, eg if you topup rm5 , you get only 5days active validity with no option to buy SLL. I am using this on my modem now, must log onto UM LTE
![]() If use on Fon, DG Basic FREE Internet is fastest , also limited to 1GB/ mth BUT you only need SLL 365 to utilise them. HL & MagicSIM lose , damn selow like ciput. |

Check out this post for some comments on a few apps running on DiGi 64kbps.
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=78445863 I can't comment much even though I have 2 SIMs on Digi's IDDIC & SLL. One is used by my daughter, Whatsapp, Spotify, email all works fine on her phone. The other one is for my router. Just planning to send email or status updates with that one. |

Where/how you do your MNP? Afaik only got 3 options for MNP: best v1 & v2 and smart prepaid.
Isn't Easy Prepaid a really old plan? This post has been edited by soonwai: Mar 9 2016, 09:45 PM |

QUOTE(zher4883 @ Mar 9 2016, 09:54 PM) I think should be no problem. Have you tried to change plans using the USSD? If not, maybe can do over phone or go DiGi Centre. Btw, can you share why you'd want to switch to v2? This post has been edited by soonwai: Mar 9 2016, 10:17 PM |

Last time we're forced to upgrade our plan in order to subscribe for SLL.
Now we're resisting the upgrade to the latest plan - v2 - because it's no SLL. Digi, what are you trying to do? |

Let me rephrase my question. While ignoring SLL (which is not necessary for one who reloads RM30 every monthly) and ignoring basic internet which both new best v1 & v2 have, what is it about v2 that makes you want to switch plans to v2? QUOTE(soonwai @ Mar 10 2016, 11:59 AM) Yes, IDDIC is 64kbps. Sometimes I tend to overspent my data plan and I don't want surprise charges. I don't want 64kbps internet either so v2 seems to be the best fit for me. I can spend as little as 2GB per month and up to 4GB per month. v1 doesn't have basic internet but charges PAYU and v2 does. I'm testing some VOIP apps on Digi's 64kbps IDDIC here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=79040500Early results look promising. If any of you know of any voip apps that's designed for low bandwidth networks, please let me know and I'll try it out. But I'm not sure what happens when the 1GB quota runs out, does data stop working or does it revert to PAYU RM3 Max a day.Do you know what happens with v2 if you run of hi-speed quota and then you run of basic internet 500mb/mth quota, does it revert to no data service or PAYU? |

QUOTE(saitong09 @ Mar 25 2016, 12:00 PM) 1. You already subscribe SLL? ☆ Yup.. Done subcribe SLL 365 days right after mnp process 2. After SLL we still get the free high speed internet 1.5GB if top up rm30? ☆ Yup.. 1.5 GB still applicable for SLL sibcriber. 3. The free high speed I ternet need to redeem *888*1# manually every month after top up? ☆ Yup.. After reload Digi will sent u sms about this promo and clearly state that must redeem before 3 days after reload. ☆ If u plan to reload rm30 everymonth, dont subcribe SLL 1st.. cause after subcribe SLL your exp date freeze no matter how much u reaload everymonth after u subcribe SLL |

Wants to get confirmation on this.
I am now on Digi Best Prepaid V4. Called up customer service and I was informed no more SLL migration path for Best Prepaid V4 and told me I got no other choice. Sifu all, is this true? If not, what plan I need to migrate first and then what do I do? Thanks so much for your expertise. |

Why does he need to migrate to another version if he's on Old Best v4? It still has SLL. CS should have told him that. From Justmua's post, he seems to be worried that he has no more opportunity to purchase SLL because he cannot migrate from v4. |

mnp to digi at digi centre yesterday. asked for new best v1 but they didn't allowed. overheard them saying new best v2 now has sll but costs rm68. i guess perhaps this is why they ended v1 for good. rm68 per year is still worth it?

MNP means the user ported in rather than activated a new number. P2P = postpaid-to-prepaid conversion. The basic plans are the same as regular new simpack activations. |

Can anyone come out with a table/list of all Digi prepaid version?
I found it to be very confusing (probably another conspiracy of the telco), where we have many different version of digi prepaid that offer different services/promos. For example, I am using Digi New Best V1, that doesn't come with Birthday Bonus, but could enjoy Free internet quota all day long after a reload. My friend, using Best Prepaid V1 (quite old version), come with Birthday Bonus, but could only use their Free internet quota from 1am-7am. I believe there are more tricks in these different versions of digi prepaid, but digi will not make them clear to their customers. |

I'd say, check with the staff at the Digi Community forum, or best bet would be to drop by at a Digi Center. Check with them and if they say YES, made you reload to the required amount, then you better be able to do it.I don't want RELOAD Rm100 then cannot SLL ..LOLZ |

it is good digi turn off the ppu mechanism in v2
as already many cases whereby user did not subscibe data plan but accidentally turn on data connection in smartphone and make credit auto deduct max rmX per day reduced rate to RM3 ppu also good for the plans still running this feature to reduce loss of credit |

Hmmm .....
Many ppl asked me this question (re: SLL 365days) last week. To all who wishes to subscribe to DiGi 365 days Super Long Life (SLL), this is the current criteria for subscription: 1. DiGi Best v4 and New Best v1, SLL 365 days is still available at RM38 (should have minimum RM43 in account) 2. DiGi New Best v2, SLL 365 days is already available (since end of March 2016) at RM68 (should have minimum RM73 in account) pls refer to https://community.digi.com.my/t5/Prepaid/Su...-Life/td-p/9891 Best of luck. |

QUOTE(UN1T3D @ Apr 17 2016, 01:55 PM) Hmmm ..... Why SLL 365 days for (1) is RM38 and SLL 365 days for (2) is RM68?Many ppl asked me this question (re: SLL 365days) last week. |

QUOTE(V3000 @ Apr 28 2016, 02:43 PM) Hope Digi dont turn out to be Hotlink. I don't think these telcos will make announcements before removing their validity extension option, but instead tell us to refer to their website for the latest offerings. We normally only find out when someone here fails to renew/buy new validity package, approach them, then share the information.Suddenly takes down validity without informing their customers At least Hotlink's Validity365 has been stackable, unlike Digi's which you can only apply/renew after expiry and the cost has been increasing too frequently. Not forgetting for Digi, you still have to check each time if they've change SLL to a new plan first. Me and friends have Digi Best SLL expiring these couple of months, and I tell them they can only know the cost and availability when the time comes. Nothing can be done beforehand. |

Guys, just talked with DiGi customer service.
Digi New Best V2 now only offers RM68 - 365 days (I think bundled with 500mb internet) Digi New Best V1 & Digi Best V4 offers RM38 - 365 days They damn sneaky putting in data plan bundle into something I did not want and will not use. I work overseas, I have no idea why I need to pay the extra RM30 for 500mb/month. Guys, you know any other plan that have okay line and similar long life package? |

Planning to give up on Digi if v4 and v1 stop having SLL.
ONEXOX doesn't have data roaming, but can still auto-roam to make and receive calls and messages. This post has been edited by RDoe: May 5 2016, 07:18 PM |
