May I know your location?

Was at Kelana Jaya for a couple of hours and saw the symbol switch between H and H+. Back home at Kota Damansara and at work at Pudu, no such thing, only H.

QUOTE(volrath @ Jul 5 2013, 11:58 AM)
Guys, hello.

Would like to ask about GPS connectivity.

I have a Galaxy Note, been using for 2 years already under Digi 88.

So, I'll be heading to Korea next month for vacation.

My question is, if I turn off all signals and not roaming, with GPS on, can I still use Waze (The GPS app)?

Or Wifi+GPS? (which means I gotta connect to hotspots)

Thanks heap!
*
Waze requires data. So yes you will need wifi hotspot.

May I know which date is the cut off for each month for the smartplan58? I signed up the plan on 8th of june but when i view the bill, it shows the billing period from 21th of may until 20th of june.
*
There are several different billing periods, if I'm not mistaken.

Is the birthday reload bonus still available these days? Like, for 1 day before and after birthday, reloading will have bonus of 50% talktime (or something like that).

I can't help on the extending caller ringtone question but I do know by deactivating voice mail, your call will ring longer smile.gif

QUOTE(ronalho2003 @ Jul 24 2013, 11:45 AM)
Hi there, the dialing tone got shorter after cancelling voice mailbox option.

when call for 15-20 secs, will straight away cut to "Nombor yang anda dail..."

rclxub.gif

Any other way? sifus of digi... smile.gif
*
Not sure if it's still the same these days... last time I asked to cancel Voicemail and Missed Call Notification, it will extend ringtime from 20 seconds to 60 seconds. But if your phone has no reception, and people call you, you won't get the SMS telling you so-and-so called you.

How does the birthday reload work? Automatically or need to register with DiGi center?

Top up a minimum of RM30 on your birthday, plus or minus 3 days.

Bonus is paid instantly and valid for 30 days, any balance after that period will be forfeited.

You need to be a customer of DG for at least three months before you qualify for Birthday Bonus.

More details here.
*
Thanks. I saw that page too, that's why I asked here. The pages says need registration. Under 'Birthday Bonus Registration'.

My prepaid is expiring tomorrow, right now on limited access (or whatever you call it, can receive calls but not call out). There's RM30+ balance in it. If I want to let it expire, can I transfer my credit out to another one of my DiGi prepaid? How do I do it? Thanks?

Hey guys, want to ask. which plan should i get if my main use if call and internet? Need to have the cheapest plan and also one sub plan for my gf. thanks

QUOTE(viqq @ Nov 9 2013, 12:33 AM)
Can try go for the DG Smart plan at RM58 per month with 2GB (1GB mobile internet + 1GB smart apps) and 200 mins free minutes (DiGi to DiGi).

Else if you have more budget, the Smart plan RM88 is the better choice with 4GB (2GB mobile internet + 2GB smart apps quota) plus 300mins free minutes to any network.

Better still, IMO the iPhone plans are the best plans around. But you have to bundle it with an iPhone.
*
Yes, can consider the RM58 one. Then can have one supp plan at RM28 with 600MB data for your gf. Put both under your name for easier future maintenance.

QUOTE(PPZ @ Nov 9 2013, 09:32 AM)
thanks bro. Will check it but correct me if i am wrong, it seems like Digi website provide lesser information about the plan stuff. for example, you said smart plan RM 88, i only see the internet usage and doesnt see if the 300 minutes free call for any network?

and what is the difference better mobile internet and smart apps?

My gf can have a supp plan for this as well right? call between this two lines will be free?
*
Here are the plans. It doesn't say free calls to any network, but it is. Becos for SmartPlan 58, it specifically says 200 minutes DiGi to DiGi only.
http://new.digi.com.my/Page/plan/default/p...rtplan_overview

Here is the supp line:
http://new.digi.com.my/Page/plan/default/p...family_overview

Not sure if calls between principal and supp is free or not. Last time it's free, now I think it's not.

For Smart plan 58, once you have finish both data quota then your internet Stops!

For the remaining 1gb data at reduced speed you won't able to finish with the snail speed.
*
My experience: used up 2GB for Smart Plan 58. Cannot browse. Whatsapp chat messages get sent, but images don't.

QUOTE(wintersoldier @ Nov 15 2013, 10:55 PM)
Just wondering if I were to take up on the smartplan 58 + 2 supp line, how much access fees do I pay for those 2 supp line?

Smart Family RM28 x2 = RM56

I have disabled voicemail but when I tested it after 3 rings there is an automated message

'the number you have dialled cannot be reached'.

Why is it so difficult to increase the number of rings ?

Please help! cry.gif

Try turning off Missed Calls Notification. Normally I do that + disable voicemail to increase ringtime from 20 seconds to 60 seconds. But, if you get missed calls while offline, you won't get the SMS notification.

1. Missed call alert and voicemail

2. voicemail only

3. missed call alert only
There is no other options.

Normally I just call customer service to turn off missed calls notification and voicemail smile.gif

Is there any DiGi store in KL Sentral? Would like to get a Micro-Sim replacement.

Just take the monorail directly to Lowyat to get a replacement. This is what I can think of, there may be a faster way...

What's the nearest DiGi center for SIM card replacement at or around KLCC? SIM card spoilt need to pay RM10 for replacement or not?
