Haha, u are right in a way. I tend to think they are now upgrading the EDGE coverage instead of the 3G network.Somehow I am still trying to give DiGi a last chance. I don't know lar.

Finally, I got an email from DiGi after ranting here. Hmm.. Maybe DiGi is watching over this thread? Who knows..
But anyways, FriendOrFoe, I think I got the same promotion as you. Here's the content of the email I've received: Dear customer, As a token of our appreciation for your continuous support and loyalty, we are pleased to bring you this exclusive, limited-time offer! Enjoy an immediate advance payment waiver of up to RM600* when you renew your contract or switch to DG Smart Plan™ today. Also, receive a 1-year MobiSure extended phone warranty (worth up to RM180) when you switch to the iPhone 5 with an iDiGi contract! |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Dec 25 2012, 10:44 PM) I'm not too sure on that. The deal ain't that great anyways. Not enough to convince me to keep using their services. The deal is RM600 off advance payment, which I don't know if this means free RM600 for the first 10 months of bill? RM50 rebate and a 1 year additional warranty. |

QUOTE(prosibu @ Jan 7 2013, 02:49 PM) no, it is rm63 before u auto Billing and The RM58 is for the first 6 months only. After that is RM63 per month.it is rm58 if u have auto billing. this is different with the rm20 rebate last year. So if pay bill by cash monthly commitment is RM63 also then right? *Inclusive of Auto Billing Rebates of RM5/month for six (6) months (upon Auto Billing subscription) and Special Rebates of RM25/month for twenty-four (24) months. Notes: Total Savings are inclusive of savings from DiGi's Phone Price, Auto-Billing rebate of RM5/month for six (6) months. An Advance Payment is applicable upon sign-up (for purchasing a device under contract + one-month commitment fee for DG Smart Plan™ subscription). QUOTE(prosibu @ Jan 7 2013, 06:57 PM) Yea you are right True. If not mistaken, the Nexus 4 is exclusively for DiGi right? I mean other telcos don't offer the phone. So that's why they can set the price so high since the others are not competiting in price.but for other people they dun want the 8GB, they just want 2GB, but DiGi dont know how to satisfy customer But then again from a different point of view, for heavy users. RM63 for 8GB quota is value already. |

QUOTE(dgboy @ Jan 17 2013, 07:10 AM) ok, I got it now. thanks It's their strategy to gain more NEW subscribers. These plans are meant to attract NEW customers to get into DiGi's network be it NEW BEST PREPAID or EASY PREPAID or DIGI SMARTPLAN, it was never meant for the existing customers to enjoy. my error was that by "new DG prepaid" I assumed you meant "latest Best". that way, "old Best" would fall under your term "any other prepaid plan". I'm fully aware that we can port out of DG and then back in again, but why should it be necessary to take such a circuitous route? DG has become increasingly user-unfriendly in recent years. anyway. it is DG's loss. under Easy, I need to spend at least RM300 per year to keep the line continuously active. under Best, it is RM30 per year using SuperLongLife. For existing customers? They would push us to subscribe to data plans. That's how they generate income. |

QUOTE(incredibless @ Jan 23 2013, 11:21 PM) recently tested out digi's hsdpa internet speed can get ranging from 3.5mbps to 7.5mbps for rm48 package...this was tested on both of my friends who subscribe to the smartplan recently. however, i had been subscribe the package since last year but disappointed when my speed only averages from 300kbps- 1.5mbps. both phones, same model testing in same area shows different result comparing mine and friend's one. wonder is there any different for new customer whom sign up. See I told you, the new customers get all the best things from DiGi.BTW, the Nexus 4 page. It stated RM899** , which would mislead people thinking only paying RM899 for the phone. Instead, the RM899** is the price of the phone after savings? What the? Trying to copy what Celcom is doing? I rather you don't do it this way man. I guess the sales are slow for the Nexus 4, they come up with all sorts of gimmick and stuffs for it. I mean, who would want a LG anyways? RM1499? For a LG? Not today brother. You're not taking my money LG / DG. |

Guys, just curious, for the iDiGi RM60 plan 2X @ 2GB, will be revert back to 1GB per month after the date it stated ?
Or does the term means that subscribers that subscribed to iDiGi before that date is getting 2GB for the whole contract period? |

QUOTE(smsbusiness2u @ Apr 18 2013, 07:35 PM) Could be because you overused your quota maybe? If problem still persists you have to call them up. Last time around they deducted RM5 from my account even I subscribed to weekly 100MB.. After calling the CS to complain, they refunded back my credit. |

QUOTE(bingozero @ Jun 4 2013, 11:10 PM) I am currently on Best RM1 hit prepaid plan, should i go for the New Digi Best prepaid plan or stay at my current plan? Main concern: Do you want the Super Long Life. If yes, you can only choose to upgrade to the New Best Prepaid.Other than that , if you make long calls more often, you should probably stay with the old one. IF you make short calls more often, take the NEW best prepaid. |

Is it true that all prepaid cards must be registered at the point of sales?
I just bought a number and the salesperson told me that I must register it at the their shop rather than activating the card in the DiGi centre. |
