QUOTE(sphiroth @ Jan 28 2013, 12:17 AM) Afaik, cannot change to prepaid from postpaid of the same telco. But you can use mnp to change to prepaid of other telco, and then mnp back to digi prepaid. Can change from prepaid to postpaid. I changed from prepaid to postpaid (Ambassador plan) and my sister just changed from postpaid to prepaid before MNP-ing out to U Mobile. Reason being Ambassador Plan is a unique plan that cannot straight MNP to other telco. So, I told her easiest way is from postpaid to prepaid then only MNP out. Edit: Under contract cannot change plan at all. This post has been edited by fruitie: Jan 28 2013, 01:07 AM

QUOTE(vuetnam @ Feb 23 2013, 01:00 PM) if Pahang of course DIGI line very bad coz DIGI actually no line there... Maxis or Celcom only have line there How do you know DiGi has no line in Pahang? What type of generalization is this? Did you mean the whole Pahang? Come on. Pahang is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia and you were saying the whole state has no line? Though I don't suggest people to take up DiGi but not to this extent. This post has been edited by fruitie: Feb 23 2013, 11:07 PM

QUOTE(prosibu @ Feb 23 2013, 08:19 PM) erm, pahang is 3rd largest instead..... and maybe he mean 3g coverage... to be honest... digi only has 3g at 2 places in pahang... kuantan-pekan and genting highlands... Oops. I wanted to say Peninsular and I missed out that word. Better edit my post.

QUOTE(dgboy @ Mar 16 2013, 08:32 PM) no activation needed for DG prepaid roaming receive calls while roaming have to pay receive sms while roaming is free Somehow postpaid need to call to activate... I had the assumption it will be on auto-roaming until I was at abroad only noticed it wasn't. Previously on Maxis had no such issue.

QUOTE(nickcct @ Mar 17 2013, 11:46 AM) The Ambassador plan still got 50% promotion for data? Yes, at least for my case. Some CS will tell you, you are not eligible as after the stipulated period (usually they will send SMS), then you won't get it anymore. I tried my luck and called in last November, got it. My data usage increased after started using Note II. This post has been edited by fruitie: Mar 17 2013, 01:11 PM

QUOTE(ic3rock @ Mar 17 2013, 01:29 PM) Before that what phone u using? My friends who use note 1 and 2 face this problem too, even they off all apps, average 1x mb data used per day... Before this I was using BlackBerry 9780 which doesn't require much MB. Barely reached even 300MB, understandable for BlackBerry. Now with Note II which I have expected to have my usage increased, anyway I hardly use my BlackBerry because DiGi's BIS sucks like hell. Cannot load and etc. Things are much better when I'm on Note II now. I don't really mind the data usage at all because this shows I have utilized my Note II properly. QUOTE(nickcct @ Mar 17 2013, 05:23 PM) Erm. Then for RM68 plan or RM48 plan? Got discount? My sister friend's working at DiGi and i'm considering moved to Ambassador plan. RM 68 plan but pay for RM 34 only. It lasts for 1 year only but can be renewed later, anyway, I will only think of this problem when October comes.

QUOTE(digilife @ Mar 17 2013, 08:39 PM) rm34 Data , Quota = ?? and how they bill you for voice and sms ? compared to UMobile UMi48 Prepaid ( no Gomen 6% tax) , which is better ? UMi plansPAYU basis for calls and SMS-es. Every month free RM 50 for DiGi usage. RM 34 is just for data and the quota is 3GB. Whatever I said above is just for Ambassador plan and not any plan that is commercialized by DiGi. This post has been edited by fruitie: Mar 17 2013, 09:53 PM

QUOTE(digilife @ Mar 18 2013, 04:59 PM) Free rm50 calls and sms to DG only numbers. If to other telcos what are the rates ? rm34 for 3GB of data is a steal   but what is the QoS ? 384/128 ? I accidentally put my DG Postpaid ( no data plan ) on Data/3G and in abt 4 hours it incurred an unbilled amt of >rm300 ~ i only noticed it when i received a sms stating that i have breached the 50% usage limit   [attachmentid=3352305] To all telcos follow the old DG50 rate, RM 0.13/minute and FnF is RM 0.10/minute. Nope, not 384kbps. I managed to capture more than 5Mbps in Seremban. Typically it is around 2Mbps in PJ. This post has been edited by fruitie: Mar 18 2013, 10:55 PM

For iPhone that purchased from DiGi, how does one claim for warranty? Assuming if the current user wants to sell to another person, can the person claim the warranty? Or must it come from the original user? Can DiGi recognize the warranty card?

QUOTE(ic3rock @ Mar 25 2013, 12:25 AM) 1 of my friend try before, he went digi and claim that the phone was a gift by a friend. Then digi staff will ask for the owner phone number, he told the staff he lost the number. End up he still able to claim 1 to 1 exchange... OK I was asking on behalf of my friend, I have never owned any phone before that's bundled with any telco package. QUOTE(megabyte @ Mar 25 2013, 02:08 AM) You are most welcome, Mr. fruitie. QUOTE(joeylny @ Mar 26 2013, 12:22 AM) my mom got a new samsung galaxy y but din subscribe to a internet plan coz she has wifi at home. so the other day we connect to our wifi n download 3 apps, whatsapp, viber and tapblox to her phone. Because she is my supplementary line n i am the principal line i got a sms saying i reached 80% of my credit limit and i was shocked coz my bill is never above RM250 each mth.. so i called digi customer service n they said they cant check unbilled transactions and i have to login my account to check so i did. at first i suspected my roaming charges coz i went hk last week but under my bill it was less than RM30 only then i saw under my supplementary line it was gprs charges n its a whopping RM590 so my question is is there a maximum cap per mth for internet charges in digi and how can downloading 3 apps cost so much? its only less than 50mb plus we are connected to wifi but they charged us gprs.. so what can i do.. i cant let my mom know and i wanna settle this before she know Appreciate any advise. Er, not sure if the WiFi was really connected... Just for your information, it is RM 0.10 = 1kb, so you do the math. The data limit should be RM 250 though.

QUOTE(megabyte @ Apr 5 2013, 11:22 PM) Oh.. Quite a good deal also la.. RM1299 for the phone.. Where are you staying? Line's not good? Surprisingly the reception got better after upgrading my iPhone 5 to 6.1.3 Less problems with calls now. Will need to observe more to confirm though. And one more thing, I wonder if DiGi will come up with LTE of 1600Mhz since their iPhone plans are one of the biggest features of their company. I think iPhone 5 is using 1800 MHz. MCMC wants all telcos to have 1800 MHz LTE frequency. My engineers told me, I'm from telco vendor background.

Certain countries it is RM 28/day.

I have given up on DiGi long time ago. Though still using it for the sake of my Ambassador Plan. I really can't depend on it if I want to surf for some information urgently. I'm using Maxis LTE for broadband and Celcom corporate line given by the company for my normal usage. Once I'm back home, I'm connected to WiFi which is shared by another Maxis line's DC-HSPA+. This shows how underutilized my DiGi is.

QUOTE(syazwan @ Jun 12 2013, 12:44 AM) http://www.digi.com.my/tomorrownetwork/anyone feels improvement on ur 3g or something? Well, to be fair. No matter how much I dislike about DiGi, the connection seems to be better now. Previously I hardly received data from my office but these days I can surf net from my phone when I'm in the office.
