QUOTE(kenling @ Dec 5 2012, 02:22 PM)
user review:

I've been using a ch60 for more than a year now. If my wife and I take a shower upstairs and then our maid takes a shower at the same time downstairs. 20 mins later the hot water starts to be less hot but still can use lah. Our showers have rain shower heads so the water flow rate is very high. But if you wait maybe 10-20 mins between each person you won't really run out of hot water.

It's super easy to install - I installed it myself. It's reliable and I'm very satisfied with the power consumption. When my old one finally spoils or the size of my family gets bigger, I will definately replace it with a bigger unit.

very sorry for the late reply and tq for your inquiry.

in general, normal showers consumes 15 liters of water. so in your case 80lit should suffice and i am talking about concurrent showers smile.gif

Model CH-80L @ RM 2,150 [270mm (W) x 495mm (H) x 1101mm (L)]

depending on the length of piping. sorry i do not provide installation. plumbers are one of the hardest people to work with, very moody people.hence i've stopped providing installations.

Hi just to clarify the power consumption
you said 4 hour consumption with 2kwh is that mean the heater will only required 4 hour for per day used?
or should be calculated as 2kwh x (24/4 hrs) = 12kwh?
Please correct me if im wrong.

Beside once the temperature reach the 70celsius will there be any power consumption consume?

4 hour is used to heat up the water 150l (from syabas) to 70c. different users may require shorter/longer boiling time.

the figures shown in the diagrams are only to illustrative the savings in comparison to conventional water heater.

user posted image

summary : - seers uses $0.64 electricity to heat up 150L to 70c per day VS $2.24 for conventional heater.

that is a whooping $1.60 savings per day if you use 150L/day or $584.00 per year.
meaning to say you save $1752 over 3 years! not to mention the other benefits.

Power Saving: Very low electrical power consumption.
No stoppage time: No leakage, corrosion or explosions.
Save on repair costs: No compressor or heating elements to service.
Guaranteed performance: Works in all weather conditions.
Save on installation costs: Light and easy to install.
Save on relocation costs: Easy to relocated anywhere.
Save on maintenance costs: Minimum fuss and labour.
High productivity levels: Produces hot water all day and night.
No more expensive 20 Amps on/off switch anymore.

once it reaches 70c, auto cut off. and will kick start again when it drops below 67c.

please do not hesitate to contact me should you need further clarifications and thank you for your questions.

Hi,

I have one dc-heater ch40l. when I want to install it, i found there is one extra tool, and it looks like a valve or filter thingy. May I know where should I install it?

Thanks!
