Yes I used poslaju service.
*
Poslaju and Parcel post are two different thing, although Parcel post is handled by Poslaju. But it takes quite some time to arrive destination.

Parcel post is much cheaper than Poslaju.

QUOTE(chrommed @ Dec 3 2013, 03:02 PM)
is the minimum fee to send a very small parcel like a pen will still be charged RM6? Is there any cheaper postage fee from other provider to send such a small thing like that?

Thank you.
*
Poslaju minimum is RM6. Other private courier companies are around that or usually more expensive.

You can choose to use Registered post (Posdaftar). Minimum RM2.20 if not mistaken. Or just use normal post 60 cent but no tracking number.

Hi All ,
I got a parcel which is Laser toner wanna send to Nigeria.
So at Poslaju National Courier custom declaration part , which one should i select and what should i put inside the content ?
Your help is appreciated.

Thank.
*
Poslaju basically handles a few types - parcel domestic or international post, domestic poslaju post or international poslaju. Go to their poslaju counter for more details or check the Pos Malaysia website. They will give you the correct form to fill up.

You should declare the content as it is - Laser Toner.

QUOTE(bubaye @ Dec 24 2013, 05:58 PM)
If my tacking number from outside country can be tracked with PosLaju already does this mean the item is already with PosLaju?

But the tracking still says "Departure from outward OE" 22-dec-13 10:10:00

The shipping is Express through China's EMS
*
Most likely yes. Call up Poslaju for more accurate information. Their online tracking system is a joke.

QUOTE(dragontongue88 @ Dec 24 2013, 09:39 PM)
Hi, I have a question. I noticed that generally within Peninsular, for small and light items the cost will be minimum RM 6 (mentioned in first post as well). I've seen many sellers in Garage Sales that are charging RM 5 for postage within Peninsular. Just wondering, are they absorbing the extra cost or are they getting better price because they have an account with Pos Laju?

Thanks.
*
Yes, minimum is RM5.95. Most sellers will put RM6 but some may absorb the fee for easy calculation. AFAIK, there is no discount even if we have an account with Poslaju. Within same postal code is RM4+ sometimes.

QUOTE(ajax91 @ Jan 24 2014, 11:40 PM)
I know poslaju works on Saturday, except first Saturday of the month...but poslaju never delivery the item to me on Saturday even the status is showing reached poslaju office, they only deliver to me on next working day, usually Monday
my question is...
1. poslaju delivery on Saturday is only for some area?
2. if no, why they don't deliver on Saturday(assume the parcel reached at office)?
*
Sometimes it depends on the Poslaju center. Also if it's office block, I notice they won't deliver on Saturdays. If home then they'll deliver sometimes. Not very consistent.

hi, i read from first page that poslaju flyer are given free? Is it true?

Cause i read from the website say need to buy?
http://www.pos.com.my/pos/services/fast_ma...ue/package.aspx

Are they the same?

I ask the clerk at the post office kelana jaya and he said i need to prepare my own envelope =.="
*
Those are boxes, postage not included. Flyers was given for free but these days they sell prepaid flyers already. For like RM6 each flyer or something, but prepaid postage for below certain weight or something.

Don't think they give out flyers anymore these days. Just wrap in your own envelop. I know last time some people wrap in newspaper or plastic bag and they will put it into the flyer.

Hi, I have a few questions below, cause i've been using PosLaju to courier lately and the prices is too much, even cost more than my profit sometimes. Im currently expanding my shop business uploading items through lelong.my , good advertising i can say, but in terms of poslaju delivery, using volumetric calculation is a headache... and sometimes my items weight alot yet the price tag is cheap, customer complain delivery is more expensive than the item itself tongue.gif

1) Which courier service you guys using? Within Malaysia delivery.
2) For business purpose, any account register for more discount?
3) I heard lelong.my got an alliance for courier stuff for 50%, yamato?

Much appreciate for help!
*
1. I use Poslaju as my items are small and light. The stuffs you're selling (I assume is heavy and huge), maybe is better to ask others that sell similar stuffs. Or you can call up with the various courier companies to check on their pricing. Sending those sort of stuffs thru courier is never cheap.
2. No discount.
3. Check with lelong for more info.

Festive season. Long holidays.

It's normal.

Anything posted on the 23rd July or later will only be delivered after the Raya holidays. And their "Raya holidays" can be up to a week sometimes.

Can anyone guide me whether I could post items such as PC's CD games, joystick, game Boy and its's game tape via Pos laju?

Do they have the scanner to scan our parcel?
*
Don't think there should be any problem with posting those stuffs. What do you mean do they have the scanner to scan? They scan their barcode on the Poslaju consignment note to track the parcel. Nothing to do with whats inside the parcel.

Hello.
I have a question if I may. Can I personally go to the poslaju center to personally pick up my items? You see, I have bought a new gaming accessories for my bro's birthday but.....Lets just say I put too much hope on poslaju. The item are from johor to kota kinabalu. Tracked and it is already in kota kinabalu. I havent seen any poslaju and I am....*sigh*.
Maybe my english is pretty bad but, can someone enlighten me what does this mean?

If any of their postman cant send it to me, I dont mind. I can go to their center. What am I gonna do....*sigh*  sad.gif

Call them in the morning. If the parcel has not been send out for delivery yet, ask them to keep it at their center and you will go and pick it up.

If send out for delivery already, you can only wait for it to be deliver.

Hi guys, wondering if we can
1. send our item via poslaju if we use our own packaging(courier bag/paper box)?
2. If answer is yes for no.1, Is there any restriction on the packaging(eg. color etc)?
3. If answer is yes for no.1, can we still use their pickup service?
4. say if we do the packaging ourselves, just need to get the form from pos office branches FOC then stick it on our courier bag/paper box, am i right?
*
1. Yes.
2. They usually put it into their flyer.
3. Dunno. Should be able to.
4. No need stick, just pass it to them when you send it. They got the plastic thingy to stick on it. They need to process the form before sticking it on the parcel.

Thanks for your reply!

Do they charge for poslaju flyers, or just the postage charges?
*
You can just use their prepaid flyers/boxes which they charge starting from RM6 each. Flyers comes with bubble wrap inside also. There will be a maximum weight limit for these flyers and the price you pay for the flyers is inclusive of the Poslaju charges.
http://www.poslaju.com.my/services.aspx#section9

Otherwise, no, don't think they charge, at least not that I know of. Last time they don't, I can take as many flyers as I want but lately have been using prepaid flyers already.

QUOTE(kae7 @ Dec 10 2014, 10:35 AM)
what is the difference between PosLajuDoc(A4 envelope) and PosEkspres (353 mm x 250 mm envelope) ?
PoslajuDoc -->

PosEkspres -->
Please assist
*
Pos Ekspress does not require the receiver to sign off. Poslaju requires the receiver to sign off upon delivery.

This means that there is a higher chance that your receiver will say he/she did not receive the items because there is no proof of signing off upon delivery.

QUOTE(Rajey @ Dec 10 2014, 12:35 PM)
Guys quick question, what exactly does "Delivery Process" mean?

I see most people who post their tracking timelines and when it is out for delivery it's usually stated "Courier attempting delivery" .

So just wondering if "deliver process" is another term for the same thing? Cheers.
*
Courier attempting delivery means that your parcel is out of their office and the Poslaju ppl will attempt to deliver on that day.

I've not seen Delivery Process before. But if you have any doubts, just call up Poslaju to clarify.
