I phoned the hotline and they said there's no repeat delivery, and I have to collect from the counter. mad.gif It's from MySale.my and it's not from PosLaju - might be from Singapore as the website is based there.

The office is too far away! How do I get to Petaling Jaya PPL from Pyramid without a car? Can I just arrange with the office for a 2nd delivery if I pay?
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/760352/all

I have another item that is definitely from PosLaju that hasn't been sent yet. Can I ask them to bring my other parcel when they deliver this?
*
Could it be a registered parcel then rather than Pos Laju? If you are willing to pay, you'll have to call that specific outlet directly and see whether they'll arrange something for you. By right cannot one =/ Try telling them you've another Pos Laju parcel that's due in, that might help. Definitely will help if you know the delivery person.

If you can get to a LRT station, head to Kelana Jaya LRT and take the RapidKL bus to Pyramid. Or if you can get to a KTM station, take the train to the Subang Parade drop off and hop onto a bus (it's a yellow and blue one)

Alternatively, tumpang someone to pick it up for you.

QUOTE(thistle @ Mar 5 2012, 05:56 PM)
Thanks for the info! No, Pyramid is the nearest to me. :/ Such a roundabout way, going by LRT.

Hmm how about, my 2nd parcel that is from PosLaju, misses it's delivery. So I ask them to deliver it again, and bring my 1st parcel along.

ETA: My 2nd parcel will only be shipped next Monday, so the earliest it will reach will be Tuesday. PosLaju keeps undelivered mail for 2 weeks, right?
*
Err, you need to check with them which Pos Laju center is having your parcel, if you want/need to self-collect. Pos Laju Center does not equal post office ya. Check the slip they gave you. Also, I think you should call the hotline again. By right if it's handled by Pos Laju I think then they should be providing a redelivery service one lo. If you get a No again, ask them why.

Just to remind you, if they say no second delivery then by right they cannot send it a second time one. You will need to discuss this DIRECTLY with the Pos Laju center that has your parcel to see if they will do it for you or not as a personal, one off basis.

Yes, Pos Laju keeps parcels for 2 weeks.

Hmm this is from MySale.my's FAQ:
Is Australia's Eparcel handled by PosLaju then? This is the tracking info from PosLaju. So I should call the hotline again, and if cannot redeliver, I should contact the office directly?
*
Australia's eparcel should be like our e-parcel/registered mail, so you'll need to collect it yourself. if the tracking says need to collect at counter, then you'll need to collect from the counter yourself d. don't bother calling the customer service line coz they will tell you the same thing only. you can try calling the office directly and see whether any special arrangement can be done or not

Okay, so today I took the U623 bus but I didn't see PPL along the way. Which stop?
*
Zomg I am so so so sorry! I misread your comment, and only realized now T.T I thought you asked how to get to Pyramid, only realized now that you actually meant how to get to the PJ Pos Laju place FROM Pyramid T.T I'm so sorry!

It's alright. I live near Pyramid. Is it the same for the other direction then?

How far is the walk from either LRT station to PPL?
*
Take the same bus to the LRT station, then stop at Taman Paramount. Walk to the further end of the park nearby to come out at Sri Aman highschool. The PPL PJ is about there (refer to maps safer). About 1km's walk though

QUOTE(KahVII @ Mar 12 2012, 02:07 AM)
Hey guys, I need some advice about International charges for Poslaju (EMS) service. The other day I had to send a tee to Germany and I checked the postage rate over at the Pos website and it stated 500grams for RM100. But when I paid for the courier at the post office, it was RM125 instead. I had no idea where did the additional RM25 came from, anyone has any idea?

I have to ship a shoe weighing 1.5kg soon to US and it would cost RM140, I wouldn't want myself to be surprised again if they charge me more than what it would seem.

Thanks!
*
You forgot to calculate the service charge, tax and also fuel surcharge. For your 1.5kg parcel to US it'll cost RM175
QUOTE
The above amount is not inclusive of 15% fuel surcharge and 10% handling charges.

Will it be possible if the poslaju sends the parcel to the wrong area? I want to deliver it to Subang Jaya but online tracking shows Puchong PPL...
*
yes, that's possible. where were you from? Puchong might have been one of the stops before passing to another section (e.g. if you are from out of Selangor). Usually they catch the mistake in time though

Can someone explain this? Poslaju willing to deliver the item for 3 times ? And the receiver is staying at home for the 3 whole day, somemore they didn't leave any notes there.
*
Tsk @ Pos Laju. I've had the same problem before (I was also the sender).

Call them to lodge a complaint, then call the Klang PPL directly to make sure they prioritize your parcel. If it's the same problem I faced, then the PPL Klang is overwhelmed and though the postman took the parcel out to try and deliver, he didn't reach your sender's turn in time.

I've had this problem twice before, only lodged an official complaint during the second time. I suggest you do the same. My complaint was for 1) late delivery and 2) Pos Laju updating with misleading information

Poslaju..tsk tsk tsk.
Same case and same branch also?
Yeah, i don't really think they willing to deliver the parcel for three times. First time facing this problem ._.
*
No, same case, but different branches. If it's not their fault no way they will deliver 3 times one

Wanna ask, can i like, buy the RM7
Pos laju box and post it to sabah?
Or do i need a parcel? I'm just posting
some documents and small stuff that can fit
into the RM7 pos laju box ... ask worker that time
and couldn't understand what he said ><
*
Sure, why not? If your items are small + don't weigh much, you might want to check whether it'll be cheaper to wrap the stuff yourself though

QUOTE(CLian @ Mar 18 2012, 09:38 PM)
Those boxes are called PosExpress boxes.

They will reach the next day as Pos Laju. But, those boxes do not need signature.

So, in my opinion, u just bring your envelope containing the stuffs to a Pos Office counter and ask for Pos Laju service. Pos Laju doesn't cost much either. But, it may be safer because it requires a signature.
*
There are Pos Laju boxes also one smile.gif Pos Ekspres is a different form of postage all together.

how many working days are given for me to collect from them? would tmr be too late?
*
need to collect/arrange for redelivery within 14 days, so tmrw would be fine. you can actually just call/email them to arrange for a second delivery FOC, and they do deliver on Saturdays too (just not 1st Saturdays of the month)

Just bought an item using PosLaju.

Sender said it has been sent to post office and gave me the tracking number. But till now, I can't track the number - Record not found.

So, normally at what time the record will be there if the item posted at branch?

Posted items at PosLaju HQ before and it can be tracked almost instantly with - Item posted at the counter something...

EDITED: WTH!! try to track it here - http://www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/service/sub_poslaju.asp , nothing found but in here - http://www.poslaju.com.my/track.aspx , there's some information.
SIGH~~!!  shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif

The Pos Laju tracking database a little here and there now rclxub.gif I think http://www.pos.com.my/pos/homepage/homepg_track.aspx or more directly for Pos Laju http://www.pos.com.my/pos/services/track/poslaju.aspx would work for all.

Depends on branch. Most places open half day. All will be closed every first Sat of the month.

opening poslaju account no more 10% discount ?? then what is the purpose of opening an account with poslaju ?

No more. Open account then can pay at the end of the month, get all the flyers and forms in bulk, and free pickup.

sweat.gif not free pickup la, they got handling fee, fuel surcharge and 6% tax.... all is 31%

sometimes i will ask my staff take over to pos office, we deliver more than 20+ a day, quite a big amount
*
the extra 31% is on top of the normal parcel rate, or are you calculating what normal users get as well (Normal users pay approx RM6 for within WM, <500g parcels)? I asked recently and was informed the pickup is free =/

Is Posdaftar the same service with Air Parcel by Pos Malaysia or are they different?
I need to send something to the States and I'm wondering if Air Parcel provides trackable tracking number? I'm out of budget for Poslaju so hopefully Air Parcel can be tracked.

Thanks guys.
*
Pos Daftar = Registered Post
Air Parcel = Parcel sent via Air.

They are different. Both are trackable within Malaysia at least, not sure about it after it leaves MY. Registered post should be ok

QUOTE(Gallardo @ Apr 27 2012, 12:09 AM)
Hello, im not sure whether this is relevant but im thinking that i purchased something from ebay US and its using USPS to ship internationally to Malaysia so im assuming that my product (which is a bag) is to be landed in Malaysia ground, Poslaju will be the default courier in charge of shipping my item domestically right?

The reason is because i have been waiting for about 5 weeks now and the seller or company that sold the item to me said that it takes about 2~4 weeks for international shipment but im still waiting. So i was thinking is it possible to perhaps give a call to Poslaju HQ to check the parcel by giving only my name and my shipping address as i have chosen Standard International Shipping so i was thus given no tracking number to check my status of my parcel/product? icon_question.gif
*
Your parcel will be handled by Pos Malaysia, but whether by Pos Malaysia themselves or Pos Laju will depend on the type of postage used. If you weren't given any tracking number, then the seller should have used USPS First Class International, and if it's via that method, it would be treated as regular mail, no tracking, not expedited.

There won't be a way for you to find it unfortunately. You'll just have to be patient and hope your parcel isn't missing. I suggest you inform the seller that you've yet to get your parcel, and ask how long a buffer time you should wait before getting them to resend (if that is an option, check the seller's T&C specific to that postage format as well as Paypal's, if you used Paypal, which I hope you did)

QUOTE(Gallardo @ Apr 27 2012, 12:40 AM)
Oh im so sorry its Pos Malaysia, well i think its partially my fault for choosing the Standard Shipping and not Express. Well the T&C didnt state anything like that and i have contacted them and they said they couldnt track for me either as mine is Standard Shipping which like you said ill need to be patient to wait for it and hope that its not missing.

Yeah i paid through using Paypal through my Hong Leong Debit Card but i dont think Paypal could help with this right since the product has already shipped which is written on both on my Paypal and eBay. Thanks alot electronicfly for enlightening me on this.  tongue.gif
*
With Paypal, if you didn't get your parcel and if the seller cannot provide proof of shipping, you can actually open a dispute case to try and get your money back smile.gif If the seller cannot prove that he shipped your parcel (he can inform ebay and paypal that he shipped, but that's just a click of a button, no proof required) he also cannot prove that he DID ship your parcel out and hence there will be that chance he scammed.

Good luck, and I hope your parcel reaches you. The delay is to be expected though for standard shipping. Most of my standard shipping parcels from anywhere will arrive after a nice long delay one -.-"

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Apr 30 2012, 05:38 PM)
Hi.

I lived in a shop apartment.

You know where it's quiet and the mail box downstairs are a mess.
Mail boxes are side by side with other tenants.
Letters which are not ours are in it etc.
If  Pos Laju mail man came to deliver a parcel and we're not home or nobody is home.

How?

What will the mail men do?

The building management office is downstairs though.

Will the mail man deliver it there instead?

*
I think the postman would go up to your place, and if you're not home then leave a slip at your place itself? IMO it would probably depend on how rajin the delivery person was though =/
