Yeah u can go ahead and get it from the dealer who gave u 3.5k discount.. The difference will the freebies offered by the SA lah.. Normally those freebies are of minimal value, no need to worry about the freebies difference so much lah..

the remote for the trunk is the alarm key. u need to unlock the car and then press the alarm key to auto unlock the boot.. when u press the alarm key without unlocking the car the alarm will sound instead..

I thought its 8.3L to 7.8L/100km.. Mb they tune the mapping.. Make engine burn more leaner..

Now u will see why grounding plays a very important role here.. As explained , lets say for full 100% throttle is 5V and 0% throttle is 0V. When the throttle is not open at all, there might be some residual current still running in the circuits.. This in returns causes the throttle lag.. To put it into words.. Lets say the residual current running in the circuit is 0.5V.. So the ECU adepts to the settings and reads 0V-0.5V as 0% throttle and 5V as 100% throttle.. So lets say u gradually press the throttle from 0% to 20%.. Which would give an eventual reading of 1V (cos 20% of 5V is 1V), as u press and the voltage slowly climbs up to 1V, for the first 0.5V ur pedal would give no response, after u have pressed till 0.5V and above (lets say u go 0.6V, 0.65V, 0.7V etc) then only the ECU reads it as throttling and sent the signal to open the throttle body accordingly... Thats what we interpret as throttle lag.. Its like the throttle is not responsive.. U have to press more to accelerate..

What other ppl would tell u is that using a PDT u can reset and tune the throttle to be more responsive.. Yes u can, but what is the real logic behind it? The PDT resets the ECU to read 0V as 0% throttling, thus after tuning it, the engine tends to idle higher due to the 0.5V residual current in the circuit and the ECU reads it as 10% throttling.. So when u depress the throttle abit u can feel the car starting to pull cos the Voltage fluctuates and the ECU reads it acccordingly..

So how does throttle controller helps?
What it does is it become an intermediary between the throttle and the ECU.. It receives the signal from the throttle, and then it sents the signal to the ECU.. So if u are not throttling, the ECU gets 0V and wont accelerate. Where else the throttle controller will determine the idling voltage and full voltage and adjust the difference to be between it..

So interested in getting a throttle controller now?
