for the 1000km service, earlier is safer even if mileage less than 1000km. best to remove all the impurities from the new engine asap.

You wish lor.....  tongue.gif

It was prolly stuck by the Proton dealership where you got your car, coz not all Inspira comes with that sticker.... make the owner more shiok....

U got your car from a dealership and not PE showroom right???
*
HEY I WANTED IT...no Laptop only...dun worry this coming TT i will bring my laptop over...50gig here i come...hehehe..i bring my collection oso .... brows.gif brows.gif

yea i bilif is the dealership that stick it there themselve.. sweat.gif

Oh crap....  cry.gif  cry.gif

But like K3 said, even if his remap generate more heat it should only relate to engine right? CVT is a whole separate system.. rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
*
the thing is...after remap..u are putting more stress into the CVT.....more stress = more heat generated = WARNING sign lor.... it's not rocket science people.... hmm.gif

FOR kenny remap 1.8mt - 1st review

1. 1st gear is much smoother...no more knocking ....( dueto richer afr)

2. you'll have a small LAUNCH from 1st gear shifting to 2nd gear ( u'll actually b easier to get wheel spin from 1st to 2nd gear)

3. low speed drive(jam / short distance) will most probably be more fuel consuming (avr km/lindicator droping real fast)

4. might get better FC for long distance ( constant speed brings up the indicato above 10.5 - 11 km/l very fast)

5. For those that did not realise it, with the increased throttle response, even with slight tap on the throttle ( indicator the 1 showing how hard u press on fuel BAR is actually showing 0 'ZERO' ...only when u hit cruising speed 4th /5th gear will the indicator show between 20 - 30 stage [those that is using km\l indicator] <--- hope u guys understand what i'm saying...if not i need post picture jor

here ends my 1st review.......oh yeah..power wise...acceleration is much smoother and faster

Agreed...but maybe under certain circumstances we are unable to service on time at 1000km, just no point worrying so much but get it done on time is always better

seems like got few issues with 2.0 remap. are we gettin screwed by RPW ppl? should make a bit of noise to them and who knows they give better settings for 2.0 to compensate brows.gif

Hang on....

Recommended using semi syn (S800) schedule = 1,000km -> 5,000km or 6 months after 1,000 (whichever comes first) -> 10,000km or 6 months after 5,000 -> and so on...

Recommended full syn (S1000 or S3000) schedule = 1,000km -> 10,000km or 6 months after 1,000 (whichever comes first) -> 20,000km or 6 months after 10,000 -> and so on...

I would NOT follow Proton's schedule of 10,000km intervals if using them semi syn S800, esp if you do plenty of short stop start drives, like morning jam to office, park till lunch, then park till jam back home type drive.... like in your case...

You should inform the SC when you register that they must not remove the K&N filter, so they remark it on the service sheet....

And stick the "Do Not Remove" sticker very near the K&N filter or at the air filter box, so that they dont "accidentally" remove it and blow air....

HSK was in shackles that day la....  doh.gif  doh.gif  me car had only two person, me be driver, navigator AND hunter.... lucky still manage to get 2nd place....  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
hmm.gif then i think bring to let them check see what to service this time. Last service they do recommend me to service around 7,000km is better.
then i reach home notice the sticker wrote 10,000km for next oil change and the date for next service. Service date 21st Sept, next service 21st Dec.
smile.gif thank you very much for explain to me Poadster. smile.gif
