Guys, great TT last night, welcum to the new Smart Owners, do cum more often and stay and chit chat and make more like minded Smart ppl....

Even as the crowd is getting bigger till we almost pow the internal of Old Town, there were many discussions, changing of opinions and poisons....

It was a mini pasar malam with plenty of stuff being on display and being traded, and installations and adjustments were ongoing, thanks to the entrepreneurial and helpful friends there....

Various topics of discussions, even clearing of the air of "disputes" and at the end, all was clear and everyone left home (at their own time) happy and friendship was forged and strengthen....

Looking forward to next Fri, where i think more cars and owners will show up and stay longer this time, as even the rain last night didn't wash off or damper the spirit of wanting to meet fellow Smart Drivers....

I thank you all for cumming.... !!

Sorry I cum late, but HSK must make an entrance wan ma.... and sorry if I din get to meet everyone..... (but surely you will have noticed HamSapKing™ making his entrance lor...)...

I dun think the afr affects the temperature. i thing rublik paddle 99. Need his feed back. ita the cvt overheating not the engine.
I have already mild down the throttle response one v1.1 patch .. hehe. more agresive throttle compare ori.. but way less aggressive compare rpw. This will surely fix the cruise thing. less agreessive will cause less frictoon to the cvt too.

He need v1.2

V1.1 is like 20% throttle more agressive compare ori.. All deiver ahd hv no issue on it.
V1.2 im gonna do 50%.. BuT hv to test as worry cruise might be jerky due to d quick response

Dont get you....

I find RPW ok after testing last night in drier and longer roads.... tested it up and down Federal, and up and down Mahameru, 1 over hour after mamak...

Dont seem to dip anymore, just that the power delivery seem to be later that your own K3 beta version I was using earlier.... need to test this RPW more today....

Else can try K3 timing + RPW AFR - lesser throttle response....??? This was what I was referring to as V1.1....

What is your V1.1 and V1.2 means??

rpw actually increase throttle response by 100%.. Last time u pedal 50%.. Now 25% u get that feel d.. but it is too agreesive .. thus cruise control jerking.. response to agressive..

v1.1 i detune the response to make sure cruise not affectes.. now the throttle reaponse compare ori almost 20% ++ only. will ensure cruise works.

V1.2 not kau dim yet. throttle response 50% increase compare ori.. hopefully it won jerk.. but i doubt.. i need to test a 2.0 stock to see where the jerk comes in then can fine tune it

my car next service is 10000km, but the date is 21 Dec 2011.
My car now just 4000km only.

should I go to service or not? or 10000km just go service?

General rule of thumb for oil change, 10,000km or 6 months, whichever comes first....

So even if the mileage is not there yet (4,000km) the oil would have started to break down inside the engine and will start to lose the lubrication properties, so its advisable to change it if you have reached 6 months...

You can always opt not to change at 6 months on the dot la... one more month (or two) may not harm the engine that much, it could always be marketing ploy by the oil companies....

But... saving RM200 for one two month later then change, versus the cost of engine.... i say change at 6 months....

Your choice....

BUT one of the vid had too much HSK....!!!! Sei lor.... doh.gif doh.gif


After remap, its much easier to hit 150 from stand still, or when you pedal it to tiong ppl brows.gif ...

Reaching 200 from there depends on how hard your press and how long you maintain the high RPM (maybe this is how Rublik got his CVT warning??).... but its much lighter and faster to reach 200 now....

Hang on....

Recommended using semi syn (S800) schedule = 1,000km -> 5,000km or 6 months after 1,000 (whichever comes first) -> 10,000km or 6 months after 5,000 -> and so on...

Recommended full syn (S1000 or S3000) schedule = 1,000km -> 10,000km or 6 months after 1,000 (whichever comes first) -> 20,000km or 6 months after 10,000 -> and so on...

I would NOT follow Proton's schedule of 10,000km intervals if using them semi syn S800, esp if you do plenty of short stop start drives, like morning jam to office, park till lunch, then park till jam back home type drive.... like in your case...

You should inform the SC when you register that they must not remove the K&N filter, so they remark it on the service sheet....

And stick the "Do Not Remove" sticker very near the K&N filter or at the air filter box, so that they dont "accidentally" remove it and blow air....

HSK was in shackles that day la.... doh.gif doh.gif me car had only two person, me be driver, navigator AND hunter.... lucky still manage to get 2nd place.... sweat.gif sweat.gif

already pedal to metal for bout 10min on ECE it just wont go pass 200kph damn!!

wonder why the autolock was not enable by default from factory doh.gif the feature already there.

@Poadster, the camera really likes you haha! cant get enough of HSK.

@Kenny, do you go back to RPW for the auto cruise jerking or fix it yrself?

You will need the remap to release those additional ponies to help you surpass 200kph....

There are a lot of stuff P1 didnt enable, prolly due to market differential of Inspira and LGT, like the leveling switch coz our headlamps are ready with the motor ma...

Them camera AND ladies cant get enuff of HSK™ wan.... brows.gif brows.gif

Lastly, K3 did it himself, see his explanation of V1.1 and V1.2 when i asked him....
