Is plastic hobbykit that same as transkit? First time hearing about resin kits.

aquila: transkit is like a bumper or hood that you can fit onto an existing base model i.e Novitec transkit that fits onto regular and Elite Ferraris. While kit like the one I showed doesn't require a base model. It's like a 1/18 Tamiya kit.

Oh ok... So, those plastic hobby kits are the same as the resin kit but just the material. What's the pros of resin kit over plastic kit?

Those transkit, since it's the first time hearing it, it is easy to get or those transkit only made by certain manufacturer for certain diecast manufacturing company?

aquila: I would assume there's no difference between resin and Tamiya kits because resin is plastic. But if you're comparing between TAMIYA and these aftermarket kits, then ofcourse the quality is way better from Tamiya.

These transkit are usually done by small companies but APM(Auto Place Model) is quite famous for doing kits like the Enzo GTC, Gemballa MIG and also Novitec's and Hamann's. They're not hard to find but not easy as well because alot of collectors like these kits as it will transform their "regular" diecast into something abit special and different.

blu3hamm3r: Lol. wanted to take family picture but it was raining the whole day yesterday. Lol. But I currently have four SV....Matte Black, Matte White, Yellow and Blue. Tho I will definitely add the Orange one in the future and MAYBE the Green or Red as I'm not sure how the colour is for both. haha.

Yaya, i saw lot of forumer in MC also comment on their price increasing plan. Dam it......too many AA supporter, alwes heard ppl said paint problem, bornet can't stand, wanna boycott AA......but when u see how any ppl here collect the LP-670 then u will know why AA wan increase the price....hahaha......

Btw, GT500 have very sexy n nice loook, but not my taste yet. I only wan to collect Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche...dun wan step into classic or JDM car hole yet....
