F430 Super GT - technically, not a new add because this isn't the built-up model from Versus. It's actually a kit that I had to build it up myself. Bought it around February and now I finally complete it. Lol.

myke & lkwanz: Nope. It's not a transkit. It's a full resin kit.

wkwebsite: It's expensive because it's Versus and now, it's EVEN MORE expensive because Versus is gone from the Japan tsunami.

aquila: transkit is like a bumper or hood that you can fit onto an existing base model i.e Novitec transkit that fits onto regular and Elite Ferraris. While kit like the one I showed doesn't require a base model. It's like a 1/18 Tamiya kit.

aquila: I would assume there's no difference between resin and Tamiya kits because resin is plastic. But if you're comparing between TAMIYA and these aftermarket kits, then ofcourse the quality is way better from Tamiya.

These transkit are usually done by small companies but APM(Auto Place Model) is quite famous for doing kits like the Enzo GTC, Gemballa MIG and also Novitec's and Hamann's. They're not hard to find but not easy as well because alot of collectors like these kits as it will transform their "regular" diecast into something abit special and different.

blu3hamm3r: Lol. wanted to take family picture but it was raining the whole day yesterday. Lol. But I currently have four SV....Matte Black, Matte White, Yellow and Blue. Tho I will definitely add the Orange one in the future and MAYBE the Green or Red as I'm not sure how the colour is for both. haha.

Sure that Aventador is 1/8 Amalgam! Lol. MR's headlights isn't perfect like that!

It's hard to compare standard as all have their good and bad points. AA always has excellent paint but sometimes, their model feels light and the interior isnt very good. HWE's paint isn't that good(sometimes) but their interior is excellent! Really heavy as well.

And yes, HW(Mattel) are the ONLY licensed manufacturer for Ferrari models at that price range. Kyosho actually has Ferrari license as well, but they have to package it under BBR so that they don't compete in the HWE segment. That's also the reason why the "newer" F-car from Kyosho are under their High-End range.

aquila: yeap. If you're into classic Ferrari's then you can always get Kyosho as well like the F40 and 512 Testarossa. But for the modern ones, only HW and HWE.

bryant: I like that "Sumo" GTR alot! Any idea on the release date?

marcus: The Elite(and non-elite) Enzo is very good as well. And also the recently released Mondial 8 is also great!

Tho the latest release, the 348 TB looks like $hit! Real disappointment considering how good their recent release have been. Another model that I find quite disappointing is the 612 Scag. Even the Sesanta Elite version doesn't look that good.

Hopefully the 355, FF and 458 GT/Spyder are much better!

Aquila: If you're planning on adding the F430, only non-elite is readily available. The Elites are very, very hard to find, both Coupe and Spyders.

jchue: you're selling some of your collection or you know someone? Lol. Either way, I might be interested in the Ford GT. Do PM me the details bro.

marcus: It's definitely way better than the Bburago but I suppose I'm already "judging" it because I'm not much of a fan of the 348. Lol. That said, the pop-up headlights adds something extra to the model and probably means the upcoming 355 would have it as well....which is great!

And that Spyder looks much better than the silver/grey version! Lol. You lowered it?

lkwanz: Love the green! Just wondering how different is this green compared to the Verde Ithica Balboni. I think the blue SV is similar to this in the sense that you can never truly capture the colour well. I've seen alot of different shades of this green from different pictures.

But if you ask me, I still think yellow is the best.

hacken: I think copper colour is nicer. I'm waiting to see if they will do a silver or white version because I think their price is very reasonable...eventho I doubt they have official license for the MP4-12C. Lol.

And don't think you need to borrow from sky, he will GIVE you. He got no problem one.

Yeap. I saw those tecnomodel one. Price kinda crazy tho. 1.6k but the Gulf livery is nice!! Tho I doubt I can go for the tecnomodel version, probably just get the peako one.

I'm waiting for the tecnomodel One-77's. Missed the first batch, so can't miss the new release!

hacken: I've pre-ordered the Bronze Metallic. And I'm also a Mclaren fan...for F1 but Ferrari will always be the one interms of road car. I don't know why I've never liked the Ferrari F1 team. I suppose because when I was growing up, I supported Hakkinen and MS always use to..."cheat" and use dirty tactics. lol.

jchue: Yeap. Peako's doing it as well, but then it's not the GT2 but the GT3 and only 2 version. Presentation and another livery. Here's the link.

And eventho I've pre-ordered the Bronze Metallic, I'm waiting to see the "First Delivery" Monaco version as well. I like the wheels on that version.

For price, the One-77 quite standard. $499 plus whatever amount of shipping individual seller charge. Lol. You can also check with Loada as he had One-77 pre-order listing as well.

blu3hamm3r: haha. Which now clearly shows i'm definitely not loapan here. But yea, the Tecnomodel Aston is sealed and limited to 77. The Mondo on the other hand, isn't really that good from what I can see. Eventho I dont have the model, I find the front grille to be too shiny. Lol. And also the One-77 is one of my favourite cars, so I don't mind getting the Tecnomodel.

jchue: Frost white is really nice. I think it's probably the hardest to find out of all the first release. Tho I was tempted, I didn't get it because the headlights were full chrome and it looked kinda cheap. Thankfully they corrected this issue on the new release.

Matte black sold out long time already because that was release almost half a year ago. But I think Hacken say his source might have some left, perhaps u can ask him.

I pre-ordered the Bronze Metallic colour.

jchue: I also didnt know about the headlights until recently when I emailed Tecnomodel asking about the new release and they mentioned the "improvements" on the headlights.

I think Slate Blue is one of the original release along with the Matte Black, Frost White and Villa D'este.
