Anyone know how to format M11X ?

i mainly use my alienware m11x for editing photos and etc. but it gets super slow and lag i cant stand no more
so i upgraded to x51. the only game i will be playing for the moment would be dota 2. i play dota 1 with my m11x now, but wanna upgrade to dota 2 on x51
anyways im a big fan of alienware

Does anyone know that is Dell still FREE replacement for m11x hinge?

Did you have alienrespawn in your m11x? Create an image using DVD or USB drive then u are good to go for reformat.

Just plug in or slot in the image and restart your laptop. Press F12 and choose the bootable device and follow the steps.
Be sure to back up all ur important things as this will wipe all up and back to factory setting

Your hinge got problem? I sure that it still free to replace

alienware m11x hinge really badly built. my is spoiling soon. everytime i open it feels like cracking. lol

I was lucky i handle my m11x with extreme care.. now hinge still ok.. need to open and close the screen with gentle and slow...

So far so good. Now cannot afford to buy new Alienware laptop...

anyone here who own M11X with hinge problem can contact DELL, ask them whether can replace hinge problem for FREE or not.

My M11x is on my way. Cannot contact DELL without some kind of hardware code.

May I ask m14x R2 users who are playing Diablo3, what is the max settings you currently using?

Is it smooth running D3 with all settings max out?

I'm M14X R1 user and can play the game on max setting

does anyone know which ram and mHz is compatible with m11x?

Getting M14x next week... what's the first thing recommend to get laptop cooler, gaming keyboard and moused, mSATA SSD... any suggestions?

Friend got his M11x R2 hinge replaced for free a few weeks ago. (it was already out of warranty)
