If you do serious enjoy the peace and quiet of active noise cancellation, be prepared to pay in excess of RM1000 for good audio quality.

- My Rig: Stock laptop onboard soundcard - currently.
- Type of usage: Music
- File format: mp3 and flac
- Music genre: easy-listening, jazz and little bit of pop
- Budget: below 400
- Headphone/ earphone type: headphone preferred
- Other requirements (if any): good clarity perhaps?

As above, I have listed out my budget of below 400 for an headphone. The review for Superlux HD661 seems pretty good on the clarity and seems to fit into the music genre I'm listening, in your opinion, is there any other brand and model to suggest?

Should I get HD661 and pair with a usb-dac or a better headphone first?
Any help is very, very much appreciated.
Thank you.

addendum: if possible, any headphone with noise-cancellation? would be great if able to indulge myself into the music after a tiring day.

hi guys, I decided to get some headphones but i am a bit overwhelmed by all the choices in the market, AKG, Audio Technica... etc and not sure where to begin. So i hope u guys can give me some suggestion.

- Your rig (mp3 players, amps, soundcard etc)
i intend to use it to listen to music and movie from desktop (with soundcard), sony mp3 player and my galaxy nexus. On top of that i also plan to plug it into my 30watt ss electric guitar amp.

- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc)
like mentioned above it's for music, movie and guitar amp(and abit of shiok sendiri recording). But i can say generally 50% is for music, 30% movie and only 20% guitar amp.

i prefer a balanced SQ due to various purpose of usage.

- File format used in your source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc)
mp3.

- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc)
mostly pop, rock, house

- Headphone/ earphone type (closed, open, cirumaural, IEM etc)
open/closed headphone

Having listed all that, i hope there's one for me under the budget of RM200... thanks.

Looking for a wireless headphone. My current one is a Pioneer SE-A1000, which I am happy with, but I need a wireless one. Just saw the TDK WR700 at Harvey Norman for RM550. Checked in Amazon, it is only US$109. Anywhere else can I get this in KL/PJ at a more reasonable price?

Thanks.

USD109 (w/o courier) = RM332 + import duty + sales tax = RM434.00 + RM100 (courier) = RM534. Warranty?
