Guys - i know this is a bad habit but am abit lost in finding replacement for my hd 201 that is broken ( cable putus).

Have a budget of RM 200 and thinking what is the best bang for the buck i can get

Here are details
1) Type of sound - Mostly movies+some rock tunes
2) Headphone prefered instead of in ear
3) Need 3-4 meter cable lenght to comfortably sit on my bed and layan

budget - rm 200.

are you sure? Fa-004 twin is hm3. Fa-003 twin is hm5. Never test the hm3 before, but fa-004
is a nice headphone, sound like its brother fa-003, fa-003 better, of course. Light and comfort. Tested a short time at the istudy. not for a basshead.

Yupp, the price speaks, better than fa-004 perhaps. If you want fischer audio, with similar price as HD448, better go for fa-011, high impedance can. thumbup.gif

- My Rig: Stock laptop onboard soundcard - currently.
- Type of usage: Music
- File format: mp3 and flac
- Music genre: easy-listening, jazz and little bit of pop
- Budget: below 400
- Headphone/ earphone type: headphone preferred
- Other requirements (if any): good clarity perhaps?

As above, I have listed out my budget of below 400 for an headphone. The review for Superlux HD661 seems pretty good on the clarity and seems to fit into the music genre I'm listening, in your opinion, is there any other brand and model to suggest?

Should I get HD661 and pair with a usb-dac or a better headphone first?
Any help is very, very much appreciated.
Thank you.

addendum: if possible, any headphone with noise-cancellation? would be great if able to indulge myself into the music after a tiring day.

If you do serious enjoy the peace and quiet of active noise cancellation, be prepared to pay in excess of RM1000 for good audio quality.
