Ya, it really move to external sd. But you cannot find it in /sdcard/external_sd because it is mount as another mount point. But you can see in your external sd, a folder called ".Android". You app and data is stored here encrypted.

You can quickly check that by "move to sd" an app, and unmount the external sd card. You can no longer use that app. And if you put the sd card into your computer, you can see ".Android" folder will contain your app in an encrypted format, read here:

Btw, the app2SD also same, move to external sd as it use the same function and UI as SGW move to sd.

btw, the GalaxyOnFire2 you said, if I install in the phone, the apps and its data is at usb storate (1gb) or the sd card(1.7gb) ?

by default the app (small ~20mb) stored in phone memory (/data/app ~1gb), but its data (228mb) will be stored in internal sd (/sdcard/Android/data/net.fishlabs.GalaxyonFire2 ~ 1.7gb)...

hrm, but I move my games (3KTD and Assassin Creed Revelation) just now,
my (1gb) de increase space from 198mb to 244mb, then the external sd reduce to 554mb,
but the internal sd no change. >< weird.

Or I should go to application>>manage application >> on sd card, and click the move to sd? (trying it now.... )

cause when I move to sd, the 1gb 1 increase space, external sd reduce space, but the 1.7gb 1 have no change. >,<

for my phone, if move apps/games to SDcard, it means instalation in 1.7gb space..not my external 4gb. how??? must root phone?

yes..u must root 1st to move to external sd..please read 1st page..bout the clock position,i oso dont know..but its not bothering me at all.

just root it..simple and easy..

about the clock position, try change the place, then, lock your phone, and press the unlock button.. then u will see...

But remember, if you root your device then your warranty will void.

no problem, you can unroot back to gain your warranty..

Even unroot, Samsung got the Root-count to check.

ooo really, i dun even know that..btw, theres pros n contras over rooting.just make your own choice.

anybody try using Super One Click app for rooting?

I got 2 problems with this phone

1) I cant sign in my google account but can sign in using another google account...

2) How to check if the phone is rooted???
