QUOTE(ery234 @ Dec 6 2011, 07:46 PM) I'm not that professional in this rooting & installing custom ROM section. Normally my brother would help me do these stuff. So, I don't want to do it. Plus, only 2 days I bought the phone. Kinda worried , haha |

QUOTE(ery234 @ Dec 6 2011, 08:09 PM) Yeah, I also think the same thing. Actually, at first I wanted to buy Ace because of my budget and the specs were in the average category. But then I was browsing SAMSUNG website then came across Galaxy W and I was like 'woah, so much difference for just RM200'. So, I got the Galaxy W instead |

I'm using the W so I would suggest you the W. For ne it's a great device and I'm sure you would get used to the screen size
Added on December 6, 2011, 8:33 pm QUOTE(fourteh @ Dec 6 2011, 08:26 PM) Hi I am considering W and S Plus which is RM 400 more. TestS Plus - bigger screen easier to type and view things on screen. Tho is has AMOLED screen but W screen seems sharper and brighter. Bad is Touch Wiz 3.0 not so nice compared to 4.0 and then no flash for camera. W - Smaller and nice to hold but scared of call quality as seems many members complained of that and lower memory on board which makes it restricted if we don't root the phone. If compare to W, advantage is bigger screen but if compared to iPhone, then W is bigger. Going to get my set this weekend but still decision not made up, W or S Plus? Any advice guys? Thanks a lot! QUOTE(AlexLai @ Dec 6 2011, 08:58 PM) Got ever feel lag before? Because I using ADW Launcher for my Galaxy Tab P1000 and sometimes when scrolling through my home screen or app drawer, will lag. So I'm worried that same thing happens for my Galaxy W |

QUOTE(shiki_arc @ Dec 6 2011, 11:42 PM) I use ADW Launcher. I've never tried GO Launcher EX before though. So, I don't know ADW or GO is better. Surprisingly my Galaxy Tab P1000 lags when using ADW Launcher but my Galaxy W i8150 doesn't. |

QUOTE(CAC@MBO @ Dec 7 2011, 01:41 PM) not really. only some games they have background services runnning. Oh, okay. Thanks for the info man Those games might cause lag as some ram is used by them. For example, my SGW install "My Country", when I check background process and services, got one "my country" runnning and ate around 2-3mb. LOL it's a games like sim city, so it run to calculate the times for collecting profit and upgrade building, I guess. |
