hmm... on my lumia 710, i wont even receive push notifications if i am connected to 3G or wifi and i set the screen to never time out while im at home...same even after re-install.. have to constantly open whatsapp to check if i have any new messages then only i will receive messages and the phone will only give vibration or sound notification when i do that and yes i have enabled push notifications...

i presume its the whatsapp software problem...

well, social apps on wp7 are still new on wp7 unlike others ios droid has been around years ago.

lol, I'm not sure.. mine works fine, really.. But it doesn't update my msg when my 3G is on once in awhile.. as if it's lagging or turned off ( i think? ) it shows me there's notification I got msg, but when I tap whatsapp, it doesn't show new msg until i reconnect 3G lol but most of the time it works pretty well like android/ios for me When on wifi, it notify me but not 100% well, but i would say 80% of the time it notifies me when it's on stand by mode.. If it never notify me, I just gotta check my phone, it'll auto notify me once I on my phone away from standby mode

This is problem with whatsapp. Just make sure after u use whatsapp dont press the back button. Just press the menu button for it to stay in the background

In Wifi yes it will sleep until you unlock your phone then only it update

my Mozart today receive notification that an update is available. Just updated and now the OS version is 7.10.8107.79. Does that mean it was Tango update?

There is any way i can watch embedded youtube video with my phone, especially in LYN forum.. sad.gif

go marketplace and download youtube from microsoft. then go to setting and select region+ language. change display language, region format, system locale to english(united states). reboot your phone

this will leak u to play some embedded youtube video on your phone but not all.
