QUOTE(v1900130 @ Apr 26 2012, 12:52 PM) Hi guys, I think WP7 doesn't support USSD. Any prepaid user here ? How do you check your balance and access the *100# menu for hotlink ? Is there any good app to monitor data quota ? If u're using Hotlink / Maxis.. then u're still can access the Menu (correct me if i'm wrong...) Combine the code for the item u want... For example... *100# for menu 2 for balance (example only).. then u type *100*2# just add * between code and ends it with # (example maxis postpaid) *100# menu 9 my account 1 billing 2 current amount then type *100*9*1*2# Hope this helps

Frankly speaking, there was once Maxis decided to scramble it around.
But yes, usually, it's *100*9# for your account.

Have you all been using touch.facebook.com lately? Amazing how a little market share can improve the web experience, eh?

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Apr 26 2012, 02:15 AM) Debit card from CIMB doesn't work online. I have one like yours, doesn't work. Go to windowsphone.com and log in then under your name, click account then edit payment information then fill in your card information and should be okay. Added on April 27, 2012, 7:28 pmQUOTE(DeniseLau @ Apr 25 2012, 05:40 PM) Guys - anyone here tried using CIMB eDebit MasterCard for registering a Singapore XBOX account? I tried using the steps on the first post, but the XBOX.com site keeps saying invalid card number. Go to windowsphone.com and login then under your name, click account then edit payment information then fill in your card information and should be okay. With all the news referring to current wp7 phones can't be upgraded to wp8, I think it's a suicide mission for Microsoft if it comes to the truth. It will all revert back to what happened to windows mobile.

It will all revert back to what happened to windows mobile. All we can do is to wait until Microsoft announce whether WP7 can upgrade to WP8 or not. Personally think that WP8 is the last major update for WP7.

QUOTE(JasonWilton @ Apr 28 2012, 03:43 PM) if we are all not able to upgrade to wp8 later on, nokia will continue to bankrupt and I will be going for iOS The way you've phrased your sentence, it sounds like WP8 is worthless to you. So yeah, Wp7 might not be available for upgrade, I thus won't upgrade to any of the newer Wp7 devices now. But surely I'll look forward what WP8 has in store since Intel launched their new core chips. I won't mind buying another for the sake of a better overall UI experience. By which way I phrased my phrase in such a way? Imo if that happens, I won't be supporting ms anymore as I feel this is one of the way they are not loving them wp7 users. Not sure about you all

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMTrIReYStgAfter watching this video, I realized that 1. Nokia Lumia is really faster (I think thanks to its better NAND memory quality) 2. 2nd gen phones are much faster than 1st gen phones. I took my Omnia 7 out to compare WhatsApp launch speed, it's slower by about 2-3 seconds. That's quite huge.
