hi all iphone sifu here,

I have an old iphone 3GS here, I wants to update the very old jail broken iOS3 in it to iOS 5/6.. I had tried to google every where and found a lot solution. I still can't find a website that can lead me a step by step guides for me or either more details to update it.

I'm downloading the 780MB iPhone2,1_6.0.1_10A523_Restore.ipsw now, do u all have any recommended website for me to read the guides? I tried search in LYN also but I failed to get the info i needs.

Really needs help me, thank you biggrin.gif

Were the replacement batt original ones? Either batt problem or your ic problem.

My guess is on power ic. Either way is not worth to fix any longer. Use it as spare parts or just sell as it is smile.gif

Top ear piece or bottom speaker? If confirm hardware failure go get it claim since its still under warraty.
For the data, do a backup so that you can restore once the replacement unit given.

If I buy my ip from a maxis user but I'm using u mobile, if I go maxis with his service card but using u mobile sim, can I still be able to claim it? I has the maxis service card. *a bit off topic.
