Hey guys. Need help.

iPhone 4 running on latest iOs. My phone is having weird issues. My screen is shaking at times. Now the top part seems to be losing one line of pixels. Like the battery bar I can't see the top part. Not really sure what's going on.

After zooming in on the top part of my phone. It looks like the line bars, digi sign, wifi , time and battery bar is not aligned properly. Like its higher than usual. Resulting in the top part of this icons being not visible.

Looks more like lcd problem.

hi guys, hope someone here can help...i didn't go through all 23 pages so this may have been asked already.

I woke up one morning and my Sleep button seems to have sunken and got partially stuck. So it's become very unresponsive.

I'm looking for a quick fix, phone is under warranty with maxis but the turn around time is just too long and way too much hassle. Are there 3rd party vendors outside who can help replace this button, and more importantly, how much does it cost?

Hmm.. have you dropped the set recently? Could be even loose connection at the lcd connector. Try to refit the connectors if you know how or get a repairman to do it for you. smile.gif

Hey bro. Nope. Haven't dropped it recently. Only drop once during CNY beginning this year. How do I refit the connectors myself ? Is it easy?

Not really that hard if you know how but you can try googling on how to do it. Youtube will be helpful as well. If not confident to do it , get a repairman to check for you. smile.gif

For which model? Beware of technician you are going with. Some might charge you wifi ic price but providing you just normal jumper.

Try checking in service notice board section for repairman. There are many who don't even know how to repair logic boards. So choose wisely. smile.gif

The cheapest solution would be use a matte sp on it coz if not you need to replace the front kit assembly which will cost you couple hundred. smile.gif

You need to change full front assembly. Will cost you at least RM150 and above. Any price lower thn that must be cap ayam quality. I believe in either original from Apple or OEM from foxconn only. smile.gif

Due to water damage it will eventually decrease its life span. Longevity is depending on many factors. Best is to clean with alcohol so that the complete moisture can be removed and from there you see.
