err... i pull 122 HP at dynodynamic across the road from my usual place where i pull about the same amount too...

It's just a rough guideline from ppl who have dynoed their cars on different dynos. Best to always use the same dyno if you wanna compare anything. Like I said, even same dyno types but at different places can give different results.

Added on December 29, 2011, 6:48 pmAnd while some its usually 85% of your power at RS Dyno at GT Auto, I've heard stories like 170 (or 190?) at RS Dyno but only slightly over 100 at Millenium.

FD2... Averaged see people dyno their FD2 with 126-131WHP stock... I will be happy just to fall in between the range... But then yea, different place dyno different... So I pretty much excited to see mine
*
You will have no problem to be in that range, I can just guess it. tongue.gif

Added on December 29, 2011, 7:01 pmMaybe I should correct myself, maybe its not 88%, I don't really know what is the number, it can be different between cars, but it should be lower.

What kc said is correct, in fact I shouldn't be giving any numbers. But that's what the % of some of the cars that have gone to both dynos, so I believe that can be used as a rough guideline.

If we can't compare on that, then you shouldn't even be comparing on the same dyno at different times, since there will be difference in ambient temperature/humidity blablabla. Can I say comparing that is "plain... oh well" too?

Guys, I'm going to change my radiator and I'm interested in getting those ciplak dual layer aluminium radiator, anyone using it right now? Care to share the pro and con by replace it with my Evo 3 radiator?

There are so many brands, all fake one, ARC, Koyo, HKS, JASMA and etc, they are all the same or got slightly thickness difference?
*
Maddriver advice against it. But I don't want to say too much, don't want to be flamed.

First, he said it is not serviceable. He also said the standard double layer one is sufficient (for some unknown reason, my car uses the single layer type). Third, not from maddriver, it doesn't help the car in terms of performance or protection, all it does is having the fans work less often.

But if you must change, I think the Jasma ones are good enough. They seem to have the biggest size for evo, 52 mm thickness.

Added on December 30, 2011, 10:27 pmAt 950 AVS, why don't you try to ask Forged racing radiators, they have lifetime warrantee.

Yup, not serviceable that one i know, and my standard one already stuck, so now only thinking to replace it biggrin.gif
And it does not help the car performance, the main objective for aluminium radiator for race car is to cut down the weight.

JASMA one got 52mm???
*
Jasma I think got 2 types, one 42 mm, another 52 mm, but mostly ppl sell 42 mm one. Try to ask for the 52 mm one.
I think the HKS replica one also quite thick, 52 mm also? Not too sure.

Added on January 1, 2012, 8:27 amShin,

Remember you got 2 ECUs right, which one are you using now? The 7.5k one that you said is a little buggy or the stock one?

High compression is only useful if you don't mind ron 97 and can go no further with your current setup and tune.

yup.. looking to improve short range acceleration aka drag.. long distance i usually maintain 120kmh cruising speed.. not top speed kind of guy.. smile.gif
will see how this mod goes and share my findings..

Better save the money, just retune your car. I can't see where you would go even with higher compression and reboring.

Added on January 5, 2012, 5:46 amOr consult maddriver and get some cams...

Added on January 5, 2012, 5:49 amSome might not agree with me, but I always think a good tune can always offset for higher compression pistons. High comp pistons is only useful if you can get no better with your car setup and tuning.

Don't know how many times I must say this, but "TYRE SHOP OPERATORS ARE THE WORST CROOKS IN WHOLE OF MALAYSIA!"

Camber setting like RM 20 on each side? Camber nut like RM 50 when it cost like RM 0.50 from China maybe?
