Then my torque just like that across, but HP climb like usual?
LOL, you're just inviting me to give you a lecture.
Ok, first, power is torque multiply rpm. Let's write this in simply equation. a = b x c
Let's say you have a b that is constant, like that straight line curve of torque of your car (which is damn good curve if you ask me).
Let b constant have a value of 10.
So for different values of c in increment of 1
c b
1 10
2 10
3 10
4 10
5 10
6 10
7 10
8 10
9 10
10 10
Please multiply for a and see if a is increasing or constant. Then replace c for RPM and b for your torque and you will understand the whole concept of this engine dyno thing why peak hp DEFINITELY happens after peak torque RPM.

Added on January 15, 2012, 6:47 amTo demonstrate how hp can go up even if torque goes down.
1 11 = 11
2 10 = 20
3 9 = 27
4 8 = 32
5 7 = 35
6 6 = 36

2 8 = 16
3 7 = 21
4 6 = 24
5 5 = 25
6 4 = 24
7 3 = 21

Yeah peak torque don't really matter because the cams already changed my engine's characteristics
Nope, mine still with stock cam pulley. Like you said, SOHC basically just shifts the power band, yours is actually okay already, you just need to unlock the additional 700rpm more. 15.15kg for a 1.8 SOHC is actually good already because you have upgraded intake, cams....what you actually need to do last is port and polished the cylinder head of yoursPS: But before that, can you tell me your when is your peak torque? Still at 5000rpm?
I understand all that, but right now I'm thinking if I'm better off with a DOHC or a MIVEC, with the cams, the high end torque and power is better but still quite low to what you can get from a DOHC.
