if u can...just get the higher line one...the executive
its better actually....worth your money more
always recommended to take the highest line

Fully support this philosophy!! thumbup.gif

And...as Bro AMenzZ said...juz by paying abit more, it's esp worth every xtra sen now...with the xtra safety features & interior luxury!!

Not every day one buys a NEW car, rite?

Morning guys.
Yesterday went to SC for normal service.
told them to adjust the handbrake cox to higher.
mechanic then check and he told that got sound when he turning the wheel.
he then check and confirm that brake pump jammed (the one that push the brakepad) and need to service.
luckily no extra fee for pump service. Satisfied with the works.
*
Rear Brake Cylinder jam usually due2 rust/corrosion inside cylinder eg piston &/walls.
Servicing is juz cleaning up, a temp measure and in yr case, FOC labour! tongue.gif

However, wld suggest a change to NEW brake cylinder shld prob recur for a more permanent solution. Replacement costs low & affordable, providing peace of mind in long run. smile.gif

every month u pay a little extra, ur car is safer in case of emergency brake.. wont skid all the way and still hit the front object...
ABS at work...i like it more than airbag...LOL
*
Yup, me was a few mths too early in getting my FL Exec! sad.gif
Now too much $$$$ loss involved to upgrade... doh.gif

Anyway, gotta console myself that hving 2 airbags now is still way better than NONE in previous ride!! wink.gif

Btw wat's Traction rating for PS3? Most tyres only hv A for Traction rating altho AA wld b better for wet grip.

Hi all, i'm new here. I have a question.
My BLM' emergency and signal lights not functioning! (same lights right?)
It happened like this...
just now i parked my car at roadside for photography, i switched on emergency light. About 5 mins later i found it not working. I tried signal light, it worked.
Once i back to home, it did not work anymore. I tried to press emergency light button. I pressed it half, the signal lights worked! with some buzzle sounds. It came from wires i think. It worked for a while, and now both were gone.

What happened? wires? Anyone had similar experience? damn it because currently i'm in my hometown, will back to KL by tomorrow. How to go back without signal light?
*
If got sounds (eg buzzing/crackling) @ switch location, it's probly "shorting" at connectors.

Get it chked by SC ppl ( if under warranty) or by elect tech guy ASAP.

If wanna risk driving back 2KL first, then use wat yu've learnt during driving lessons... Hand signals!! tongue.gif

Comparison between MyVi and Sagas is like a "Neverending Story"!!

Ultimately, it's a PERSONAL choice and decision! It's his/her $$$!

Nothing else..no matter how one or others may point out this or that, the Buyer has oledi made up his/her mind!! Even b4 asking in this or any car forum!! Believe me!

Future frus, regrets, truth that Buyer wld hv 2face...not us! Pls go read complaints, probs and frus of Buyers of MyVi and other car makes/models in their respective forums! brows.gif

God knows why that Buyer post that kinda question in the first place!! doh.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

In all honesty, does one not buy a car juz becoz of ROUND aircon vents...instead of box-shaped vents?

Frankly NOT feel so... icon_rolleyes.gif

i think this round shape better
2 reasons
1. it provides MAXIMUM aircon flow...big hole..the whole car also cool down faster
2. less chance of being faulty...its not as easy to spoil than those box shape ones
and its easy to adjust as well...up down and sideways also can without worry of spoiling
*
In spite of yr abv pros abt round aircon vents, our fren, edmunz, did NOT wanna buy a Saga JUZ BECOZ THEY WERE ROUND!!!

yup..i think it is simple..and low cost..  brows.gif

no need to cut existing wire..just need to connect a few wires only..

no need good electronic knowledge..basic will do..  thumbup.gif

but please be sure what u are doing..if else..  doh.gif
*
Yup, tapping into relevant cables shld be no prob.

However, error can be made in connections to correct terminals on Timer itself. So if yu can provide a more specific points of connections eg what are the markings/locations on Timer to be used.
As in yr earlier diagram, no such info is provided...juz 4 terminals 2b connected.

Pls give that info so all who wld like to attempt similar DIY wld not make non-reversal damage to car circuitry.

On behalf of all, I TQ in adv. notworthy.gif

what i confuse is when we bought saga, proton give or not to buyer know some manual what need to service item, why sc suka2 service and charge like optional item..
*
NO confusion.

YOU are the "PAYMASTER"!! SC only provides service yu want...Owner's knowledge & confidence goes a LONG way!!

ALL new cars come with a Service Manual and items that need to be inspected or replaced are marked accordingly in Service Schedules found in it.

Pls read all printed materials given upon delivery. whistling.gif

my car is going to to 15k mileage already...
previously 5k and 10k i use semi-synthetic 10-40 oil and my father ask me continue use 10-40 when servicing 15k mileage...
But i heard a lot of people say travel a lot on highway car should use 5-40 and which is full synthetic... so which should i choose?
and full synthetic is a lot expensive than 10-40 and i dont know choose which brand if i go for full synthetic.

Pls don't listen to yr "a lot of ppl". Base decision on FACTS!!

Do yr own research/reading up on FACTS abt engine oil types. Google is good tool! tongue.gif

Branded SS 10W40 good enuf for normal use. If got $$$ to throw, then go for FS. Yr $$$, yr choice...yr decision... As long as owner is HAPPY!! rclxm9.gif
