mine is BLM
u mean the 2 setting of headlamp is it?
1st is dim headlamp + instrument light
thn 2nd is full headlamp is it?
but fog lamp is a separate button
*
Nope. Not the headlamp switch on the lever.
If yu hv the fog lamp button, then yu don't hv the dimmer control. tongue.gif

It's in models that do NOT hv the fog lamps...
So then, in the same location as the fog lamp switch is an adjustable knob to dim the instrument lights. wink.gif

ps. It's shown in the User Manual...in my copy, that is... rolleyes.gif

Hey you are lucky dude! When I had my first service at Eon Larkin JB, they only had crap petronas engine oil! Damn i really hate petronas crap oil, but no bloody choice! Then appointment 8am, finish nearly 11! So slow!
*
Bro niterider's 1st service <1hr is reasonable cos incl waiting time, etc.
However almost 3hrs? A joke la!!
Actual time needed is only abt 30 mins cos 1st service is nothing more than an oil & filter change! tongue.gif

And yup, all are literally forced 2get our cars serviced @Proton SCs cos of warranty T&C...nothing else!!

Added on December 4, 2011, 6:02 pmps. Btw most parts of car are NOT covered by warranty after 1 year (if not mistaken?)...except for major engine / GB probs. Correct?

I just see a car a few hours ago.saga flx se 1.6.
I noticed there is no cover under the fender ( i mean behind sportrim or tyre), so from the edge of the tire (outside) i can see absober and exhaust from there.
why like that, cut cost?oh please...
i dont know blm,fl and flx got or not cover fender, no check yet.
sorry didnt snap pic.
btw, it still nice car for below 50k. i no choice no much money will pick this car next year.
*
Re bold-ed phrase, really kenot understand wat yu're trying to say... Sorry... doh.gif
Frankly, for most, if not all cars, the absorbers & exhaust can be seen cos they're EXTERNAL parts...ie parts outside engine bay area! whistling.gif

Btw all fenders hv plastic covers covering parts with no metal body structures...I know my FL Exec has! tongue.gif

*
NO plastic covers for wheel arch areas made of metal wan. Same also for "Mitsu" Sagas of past.

Feel dat's normal...esp for non-luxury cars. tongue.gif

There's cover for part of front wheel arches ie between engine bay outer & edge of fender...black plastic. Also at back of rear wheel arches.

Same as for my previous Saga 1.5I Auto. So, me oledi used to such conditions. tongue.gif
Only diff is old Saga had thicker bitumen underseal all over...deadens noise partially.
I tried to get such STP bitumen underseal spray-on I'd used b4 but kenot find arnd these parts! So could only spray those waxy rustproofing compounds. sad.gif

Anyone with issues to their default car tint? The one at my back window have bubbles and waves d, how? sad.gif sad.gif
*
Ori tint has 5-year warranty. How old is yr ride? Chk out date on warranty cert that came with car & claim for replacement @ SC.

@rogrog : Similar action for faulty wipers. Try claim if still within warranty period.
If out of warranty, get the control unit chk-ed & replaced if faulty.

Wish yu both all the best!!

ps. Good morning, Bros!! How's weather 2day? Hope good?

UPDATE:

Re Fender covers, me re-chk-ed/re-looked under wheel arches juz now :
Front : Black plastic cover fr edge of fender to absorber mounting point...fr front of wheel arch to back of it.
Rear : Black plastic at rear of wheel arch...fr abt 2/3 up rear to bottom.

Standard for ALL Sagas, rite?

Was wondering, is there any way to adjust the foglamps of FL to shine downwards towards the road, and not upwards towards the signboards? I just went to change my fog lamps to 6000K so i could shine the road without my headlamps. My OEM headlamps are too bright and its blinding the people in front of me.  rclxub.gif
*
Ori headlamps too bright? Definitely not ori feature! Haha!
Blinding ppl? Must b out of alignment...juz re-adjust lo. tongue.gif

So now yr foglamps also blinding ppl? rclxm9.gif

Added on December 6, 2011, 3:53 pmps. Sagas so-called "foglamps" are MORE like "SPOTlamps"!!
Aren't foglamps supposed 2b with yellow lenses? To better penetrate fog?
Ours are clear ones!

Reference re What are Fog Lights? :
http://m.wisegeek.com/what-are-fog-lights.htm

Also here :
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/li.../fog_lamps.html

Defintion of good fog lamps:
Good (and legal) fog lamps produce white or Selective Yellow light, and use tungsten-halogen bulbs.

What are Spot lamps?
Spot lamps are used to illuminate signs, house numbers, and people. Spot lights can also be had in versions designed to mount through the vehicle's roof.

Conclusion?
After reading thru, feel Sagas hv Fog Lamps.... whistling.gif

Greetings to all! smile.gif

Re absorber prices, yup, me agree RM410 for front pair kinda steep! Got my Monroe Sensatrac 4ole ride only <RM400 for BOTH fr & rr!! Fr struts also abt RM260/pair!

Unless prices hv spiralled since last year..?. doh.gif

Re tyre wear, can b caused by worn shocks if wear pattern is in patches all over tread...not inner or outer parts... tongue.gif

Hi...
Do yu all know abt this?

"ExxonMobil recommends a five year maximum shelf-life for engine oils, including Mobil 1. "

Found this in Mobil FAQ here ==> http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorO...Shelf_Life.aspx!

ps. This is probably reason why imported engine oil bottles hv manufacturing dates printed whereas our Msian ones do NOT hv!!!

Added on December 17, 2011, 10:54 pmpps. As a result, we do NOT know how old is stock of oils we buy each time??
