I don't use rom manager nor recommend it. A kernel with CWM is all you need. CWM 4 does not support external sd. Put the zip file in internal SD. There is no need to unzip it.

Previously i tried to root and flash some other ROM and it pop out this 2 messages. After that i used lite'ning which have everything in one including this CWM and it works. Now running lite'ning. Just now plan to try Checkrom but half way pop out this error again.

i'm using maxis broadband package for s2
they keep spamming on sms whenever i reach my usage quota
very troublesome
at least 5 sms receive every minute

I wonder before i run the ROM and im going to wipe off data and dvik cache.. Would it clear off this ROM too?

No. Wipe data is like factory reset. Only your data, app etc will be deleted. The current rom files will remain.

Wondering if I should jump to CheckROM v3 from my v2 just to keep up with the latest stuff...

All of you who use v3 have no real bugs right? The new JKay sounds tempting.

Ya. so far CheckROM 3.1.1 smooth. bru pkai 2 hari so blum tau how good the radio and power management is..

So far.. no bugs. no mosquito. no cicak or anything.. hehe

I do not see the guide to fix the G version USB connectivity issues on the 1st page.
