I could say the same with Caroll. He should cut that stupid ponytail of his and focus more on improving. The hypocrisy of some of the Kops are sickening. Why can't they just move on? Once a red always a red? Tell them that
Damn, were you tormented as a child? Chill out and have some sense of humour dude.

Added on November 30, 2011, 6:12 pmSuper article on Lucas. I only noted one of the times he destroyed Torres this morning. Didn't realize there was a second incident as suggested by the article.
http://www.sabotagetimes.com/football-spor...ive-midfielder/Made up for the lad, shows that persistence and patience pay off big. I didn't watch the match last night, but it was amazing how he bossed Yaya Toure last Sunday. At one point Yaya made a run with the ball and Lucas used his physical strength to hold him and won the ball cleanly. Hopefully his injury isn't too bad.
I know whose's name I'm going to get for next season's home jersey.

Added on November 30, 2011, 9:15 pmOne interesting point on the Lucas' article was this:
QUOTE
“Some day, people will realise how good Lucas is,” forecasted Rafa Benitez.
I seemingly remember Rafa said that and dug out some old articles. True enough:
QUOTE
He said: 'People just don't know how good Lucas is. He is a fantastic player, he was captain of his club side at 19 and has already won full caps with Brazil.
'Not just any country, but Brazil. He has captained their Under-21s and their Olympic team.
'He has a very good mentality. When you talk of Brazilian players you know they are skilful with ability. But Lucas is a worker and has a very good approach.
'He can tackle, he can pass the ball and he can win in the air. He is still a very young player learning to live in a different country.
'It is not easy for him to get into the team, considering the quality of the opposition he has to face in that department at Anfield.
'He is competing against Javier Mascherano, the captain of Argentina and against one of the best players in the world, Steven Gerrard, who has also captained his country.
'And then there is Xabi Alonso, who is now a European champion for club and country.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...l#ixzz1fC4tx5YP"I can't speak for every single fan, but every member of staff knows he is a very good player and his teammates know he is a good player.
http://www.sixcrazyminutes.com/forums/inde...p?topic=31141.0What's appalling though was some of the comments made by fans on those pages:
QUOTE
"For ****'s sake Benitez, this is a monumental blind spot.
The only upside is that the useless **** is suspended. I wonder if it's possible to request the suspension be increased?"
"defend all your flop signings rafa. you will soon get a whole team consisting of flops."
"Whilst we wont get our full 8m back I think 5m is reasonable and we should be able to get a very decent option as a back up midfielder in the 6-8m range."
Now before this turning into a "told you so" post, it's always easier when you have the benefit of hindsight. However, isn't it deja vu when you realize some of us here were already calling Carroll and Herderson a flop a few weeks ago? We ought to learn our lesson.
