LOL my apologies to the rest of the LFC fans.

I did not intend for the example to be taken more than what it was. And yes sometimes these "debates" could get a little out of hand especially when kids fail to comprehend the basic grasp of situational comparison as oppose to individual comparisons.

I was harsh yes, I should not be. But then it's the reason each of us love the club and defends our clubs actions with so much passion.

Anyway, let's get back to football and I'll ignore the trolls (sorry I mean kids) trying to make sense when they come in here. We focus on the balls from now on tongue.gif

Yeah..lets talk football, leave the budak with his religious ideals alone...my thought on last night's game - not clinical enuf in front of goals, crosses to carroll realli sucks, i mean we have one of the most deadly header of the ball in BPL but we are crossing mostly to suarez?? probably carroll isnt playing too much, as such downing mostly look for suarez suarez and suarez, and enrique also look for mostly suarez - i am sure carroll is more dangerous as he pick up more matches, KD really need to start carroll!!

before torres came we suffering for not scoring goal... when we got him we let him go at last.. now same long ago old problem coming again... i wonder why we cant even keep our star for long enough even they want to leave...

spurs keep modric/bale for as long as they can.. same goes to arsenal but why not us... i wonder it's the matter of the club ego or so called ''no players are bigger than a club'' or what... now we are suffering ''our new player cant adept for the club''

We've got Toons , City & Stoke in the next 3 games. We have wasted our chances to gain all 15 points from the past 5 matches which we should have won (all of them) including last night's.

No matter what has happened to Liverpool Football Club, its history and tradition has remained intact. It is that that separated us from other English clubs. We are the most successful English football club of all time.

Yes, of all time. Not City. Not Arsenal. Not Manchester United.

It's Liverpool Football Club.

At the end of the day, it is an honour to be associated with a club of Liverpool's stature. You should—as I'm sure you do—appreciate that and remember that you reflect Liverpool's belief and passion.

It's just crazy.... The ref allowed additional extra time and yet we see another MoTM performance from opponent goal keeper and defense. I can't complain much on the efforts. I think I saw hunger in our players. One of the better performance from Downing.

We can see what we have been missing when Gerarrd came on.

Just to add, I've been impressed with Skrtel so far. He keeps on improving, already scored at least 2 goals this season nad now he got an assist. Something that I've never imagine before from Skrtel. Looked so much more comfortable with the ball compared to previous season.

i think we should stop talking about crosses ... why is there lack of scoring chances by through pass .. i prefer central plays instead of wide play .. like that, gerrard and his pairing would perform better .. steward downing still can cross if he had to do so but concentrate mainly on through ball from midfield.. i think its the best way to break up a solid defence (and predictable i know... that is when a team player shows his ability).. you dont have to score many to win a game .. better than crossing and hope that players up front gets the ball and scores like what we're doing now ...
*
i agree to this. when we were facing villa, their defence were pushed up,, we could easily break them with a through ball but instead our team rely too much on the flanks...why not just send a through pass to suarez and let him have a go with the keeper? i dont think any defender can stop him when his bursting through like that..

He means "are"

UEFA CL Cup is in Anfield trophy room. I think you need to be Kings of Europe not just Kings of Kampung 5x to have the cup.

Unless the rules have change then I langsung take terima memo hmm.gif

ambik bro punya statement - you ni kena sekolah lagi ke?

It's only a matter of time before that is gone.We slacked off.united caught up.At current rate,we are not even gonna make CL.
No point looking at the past.United look likely to win the title this season.

Meanwhile we will be happy with a win against them after raising our game against them. That's a small club mentality like everton. With all respect to them I really hope liverpool doesn't end up like newcastle. They think they are a big club but just look back at their achievements. The last league title they won was 84 years ago and the last major trophy they won was 42years ago.

Defenders may not able to stop him, but GK, goal post, and his own shot has been letting down, 4 goals, after half season gone, and not less than 40-50 shot on goal, speaks the stat or situation, even ballooning a penalty shot before.

Burst through also need to put the ball into the net.

You really can see what we're lacking at the moment when Gerrard came on last night. Creative passes and good runs inside the penalty area.

Downing and Enrique was pacy and kept breaking their left and right wings but their selfishness, poor crosses and stupid attempts on goals outdo all that. Gerrard should just take the last shot instead of passing it to Downing. Guy sucks to max with finishing. Shouldn't even try.

Adam needs to stay off the christmas pudding. Good god he looked like a fat kid who'd just finished a 100m run. Thank god Gerrard is back.

If not win the title, soon or later, there will be another club surpass.
Each year 1 title, 20 years not getting, mean there is club/clubs that getting 20 titles.

If City going at this pace, win the title year in year out, 20-30 years later, they may get 18 as well.
Same with MU, they may achieve 20, 25, 30, if not City or other club win it.

Yes, history and tradition intact, but need to address current problem inability to challenge the top.

I've mentioned this before, Suarez seems to go for the exquisite shots rather than the high percentage ones. That's what's letting him down.

This is spot on. He can score if his finishing was a wee bit clinical, it's a wonder the kind of scary figure he can become for Uruguay only ends up squandering chances in the Bpl.

I think he needs to keep playing upfront with Carroll and I truly think Carroll should be used in every game. I know he has his haters but reliance on keep passing the ball to Suarez should not be the only option. Carroll has alot of power in his shot but of late I really don't see him taking his chances. It could also be his reliance on crosses too.

Yes. The kind of energy he brings to games when he is on form is awesome. Only annoying stats with Gerrard is u almost can't play him week in week out.

As much as what 1 man can do he still needs support.
