Last night game was superb for Reds, we control CT from start to finished, granted they played in CL, but i thot we gave them a deep run for their money...I am not satisfied becos we dint take 3 points, but really satisfied we control the match against a team with a budget that is almost triple in investment value compare to Reds..
My take on not playing ACarrol, initially i tot he is playing, but realize that if we field 2 forwards, our midfield will be compromise..when mancini take off nasri, i tot it was a wrong decision, becos they hardly hold their midfield together last night, but taking off nasri for ballot, make it even worse....
For those who lambast henderson - i tot he inject our midfield with energy and covering many grounds - he is also winning headers in the middle of the park, and also carries a bit of threat going forward, his passes are not bad... and downing, apart from not provding assist or scoring, i tot we gave CT plenty of headache on the left wing, if we play maxi, we may not be able to attack the corner, becos he dont have the pace to do that...
Finally, really salute KK, his prediction before the game was that Joe Hart will be very busy, and indeed that prediction is spot on! I dont think Joe hart's been this busy except for the game against fulham (correct me if i m wrong). KK somehow already know what his men will do/or capable against CT..

Ohh and my take on Reina, those who think he is shitty, can go fly kite too...this keeper is steady - handling is good and i somehow feel that he is a younger version of shay given and also better off his line - thanks to his reading of the game..dunno if any1 agree with me...

Not sure about you guys, but a bloke with the name of a bullock cart - talking bullocks - conceding 2 goals every match...wtf... but idiot aside-
Spearing for lucas...well i have my reservation, i remember this scouse on his debut, contrive to lose the ball in the middle and allow opposition to counter attack...match after match i saw barring the league match against chelsea recently, which i need to catch up on sleeps, due to long deprivation... this wee Jay have tendency to lose it in the middle, in his own half! and allow counter attack...lo and behold, i dont know how many times lightning will strike, but not really comfortable wth spearing in the middle.... he tend to delves on the ball for too long time and sometimes his passing is a bit of a letdown. As much as a terrier that he looks like, hounding opposition midfield, but kinda light weight, he is afterall, small in stature. Only hope he can step it up and prove me wrong, just like lucas did, otherwise, jonjo and henderson looks more likely ahead of wee jay...just my tot tho...

Yesterday's game highlighted the deficiency in Villa more than the invincibility of Liverpool, but still take nothing away from the team's pressuring in the 1st half...i saw many movement which i really like to see in modern liverpool football - flick pass, one touch and 1st timer...as i said earlier this season, if liverpool can incorporate more of such movement and develop more understanding amongst players - we will be hard to beat, and will defnitely challenge for the BPL supremacy....I think the next thing to develop for liverpool is, of course scoring and i hope more goals contribution from midfield and defenders, and also how to use the ball after we are 2-3 goals up, we could have play the ball better - remember Arsenal at their best - even if they are 4 goals up - opponent can hardly get the ball off them! Or just like the all conquering Valencia long time ago - they are hard to beat and cant even get the ball from them...

You are right Duke, unlike some fans who complaint complain and complain, i thought we control almost all the match we played, with exception to the match against Spurs, we are very unlucky to draw some of those matches - i think we crashed the bar for 18-19 times now after the Villa game. If we convert half of these and having the tightest defence - we would've been in top 3 position by now! All in all, the way we play now is something that i really enjoy watching, we are an attacking team now and boast the meanest defence - it is something that Rafa did not achieve, because we were too rigid back then.

Yeah..lets talk football, leave the budak with his religious ideals alone...my thought on last night's game - not clinical enuf in front of goals, crosses to carroll realli sucks, i mean we have one of the most deadly header of the ball in BPL but we are crossing mostly to suarez?? probably carroll isnt playing too much, as such downing mostly look for suarez suarez and suarez, and enrique also look for mostly suarez - i am sure carroll is more dangerous as he pick up more matches, KD really need to start carroll!!

Unfortunately, there is nothing the manager can do, except probably include more drilling session on shooting - to improve shot accuracy, otherwise a game of football is not playing Lego - where you'd just build up shooting -and train them not hit the bar! - pretty silly, i think. You can't do that! Just like a game of snooker - if you are not accurate, you need to practice - any other way to make sure the ball goes in?? - still falls back to practice, practise and practise...
I agree with Duke as much as i said all along - the new boys been together for what - 4 months or 5 months, but expectation amongst Red fans borders to unrealistic and fantasy even - and how can you compare Liverpool to Spurs -Redknapp been there for the passed 3 seasons - they should be challenging for the title not CL spot - give KK another 2 years max - i expect us to challenge for the title - king or no king
As for missing penalty - i tot we dont have a designate penalty taker since gerard was injured, and we lost Xabi. It shouldve been Dirks role, but he is not 1st eleven anymore. I personally think that if KK belief in Adam, then we should stick to Adam as the designate penalty taker.
As for opposing GK being MOTM - well i can only think of this part is because most team who came to Anfield tend to play deep, as such afforded the GK plenty of protection, and when we did get past the defenders, their GK is the last protection, which reduces our odd of scoring. And if you notice - most of the time it is desperate defending for visiting team that prevented us from getting 3 points, this my take, otherwise really hard to explain how come opposition GK can suddenly becomes superkeeper - maybe KK should request for drug test on all visiting GK and see if anyone of them on the take!!
