Jay Spearing, Jonjo Flanagan and Sebastian Coates from the first team squad thanks to Kenny Dalglish’s wish to give them playing time ahead next week’s Carling Cup tie with Chelsea.

This means that Kenny intents to use the youngsters in the carling match? If so, good decision by him.

Anyone has a good link for highlights of the reserves match against Sunderland? Thanks

Found this on twitter @stupidfootball
Have to clarify that this was only meant as a football joke.

"Chelsea have made an official complaint to the FA accusing Luis Suarez of abusing Fernando Torres. Apparently he called him a striker."

They have many more jokes on their twitter @stupidfootball
Please forgive me if I offended anybody here..

lol. Torres will never have any success with Chelsea. Time to move on

Ah reminiscing about Torres are we lads? Well here's an ad I've watched countless times. I really miss doing the Torres bounce and singing his chant. Catchy as hell. Lost count the number of times I'd sing it at the top of my voice. I do wish him the best but certainly not while he is playing for one of our rivals, understandably so I hope. Club comes first.

Hahahaha good times. Good times rclxms.gif

Joe Hart godlike!!! Reina almost gave me heart attackS!!

Downing and Henderson were disappointing, especially Henderson. Downing's shot at the end was just stupid. No idea why Henderson wasn't subbed out. 4th home draw this season. Champions league is getting farther and farther away.

MOTM for Liverpool is definitely Lucas. Brilliant play. Overall MOTM, Hart. Damn

Seeing the game tonight further proves that Liverpool is really in need of more critical finishers and more creative midfielders. 80% of our attempt of goals came from crosses. Were they expecting Kuyt and Suarez to head goals in? Same with Caroll. All the balls that came to him were high up.

Lucky goal. Nothing more, nothing less.

Downing 0goals,0 assist,0 shot on target whole season.Talking too much all the time. That's 20million pounds down the drain.Whenever he plays we only draw.
I was calling for carroll much earlier as suarez plays better with him.People are gonna say i am a whiner and negative person.

Truth is we fail to capitalise when others drop points.I am tired of the we played well excuse but had no luck.
If it happened once or twice we could say it was bad luck. But this happens every single time, then there's something
wrong with the players' mentality.
*
Yeah. Dude needs to keep his mouth shut. I have always been negative towards him and that's not gonna change anytime soon. Same with Henderson. Why can't Bellamy and Maxi start? We played better without those two jokers

While everyone blasted Downing, why not look at Enrique? I for once thought that he is the signing of the summer! Best signing of value. His recent games told me that I might be wrong. He had now made few major mistakes in 2 big games. At times like this, I m actually hoping for glass leg Aurelio on field than him. Aurelio provide so much security and better cross down the left and more importantly, he excelled in big games. Enrique is the total opposite. He isn't up there for big games yet.

For instance, tonight, Downing was looking to link up with enrique. Downing already passed to Enrique and already began his run forward. Instead of linking up with Downing, Enrique went on dribbling alone, losing the possession. What's was on his mind?  I m keen to see him rested for the next match and lets have Johnson down left, Kelly on right!
*
I agree with you but the only things that kept me from blasting Enrique was his obvious superiority in speed and he is very good with using his body when blocking. Plus, he's nearly not as greedy as Downing and he knows how to keep his mouth shut.

As for Aurelio. I have no hope for him as he keeps getting injuries. And it's taking him so long to recover.

My positives for the game:

1.Solid defensive pairing with agger and skrtel.Thank god for agger as he stopped aguero many times.
2.Reina did a fantastic job as a sweeper though it was really scary.
3.Lucas.This should be on top actually.Bad brilliant passes and i have never seen silva this quiet in any game. This will probably be silva's worst game.
4.Carroll.Fantastic header at the end and he seems to take the burden off suarez as the target man.

Negatives:

1.Downing wasting two great chances.Lack of composure in front of goal.
2.Enrique wasteful with the ball many times.
3.Kenny's decision to sub carroll so late.He should have been on for henderson or kuyt around 65-70minutes.

I could say the same with Caroll. He should cut that stupid ponytail of his and focus more on improving. The hypocrisy of some of the Kops are sickening. Why can't they just move on? Once a red always a red? Tell them that

Kinda out of topic but why does Suarez kiss his wrist every time he scores? I noticed Silva does the same thing. Is it a Christian ( Catholic ) thing?

lol start blaming ref again....

MOTM: Riise

Shitderson had no chance

No Lucas, whole team turned into [insert flame words here]. There will definitely be big changes come January. Just count on that. Now, Arsenal is ahead of us and they have one of the leading scorer in BPL, RVP. Props to Wenger. Kenny should learn some from him.

How not to? If you think the referee was right in giving the red card, then I should quit watching football altogether. I just cannot understand the game anymore.

77% of Liverpool domination prior to the sending off. Then Fulham started to look lively, thanks to the help of the referee. Seriously, England should never send any referee to the World Cup. I would hate it if they destroy the tournament.

I dont feel shame for the boys in this game. The boys worked hard and was by far a better team than crap Fulham. Sometimes, good team dont get the result they deserved.
*
Remember the Rodwell sending of? How many players have been red carded against Liverpool this season? The refs are more on our side IIRC. My point is these kind of things happen. It's football. Instead of blaming the ref maybe we should start by looking at the team first.

Fulham may be crap but we can't get past even a goal against a crap. What does that make us?

...and Caroll over Maxi rclxub.gif

The thing is the decision went against us over and over again. How could that be an offside when hanga played Suarez onside?

How could Suarez been blamed and Fulham get a free kick when he was the one getting fouled by two players in the box? I would be happy if you can enlighten me on these issues.
*
Like I said. It's football. Human errors(?) comes with it. Unless FIFA is gonna start implementing video replays, I don't see anything changing. A loss is a loss, a win is a win. Just suck it up and buckle up. Nothing's gonna change even with us b****ing around.

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Dec 6 2011, 06:21 AM)
So you feel that Liverpool players should be red-carded because of Rodwell incident? What kind of theory is that? 2 wrongs doesnt make 1 right. I feel for Rodwell when he was sent off. It was injustice. So now I feel for Spearing because it was absolutely injustice.

As for the goals, the boys were closing in prior to the sending off because the game became more open in the final stages. I still dont feel shame for the boys. They did nothing wrong. 2 Goal post struck in a single game. Who does that? Only Liverpool football club.

We now hold the number of striking the goal post record this season. Look, if you think we are crappy infront of goal, you should just switch to basketball. Your goals will come in numbers.
*
Dude, I was just making an example on how human errors can happen in football. Not the other way around. Look, the way I see it, if you hit the post so many times and don't score a single goal; you're either a) Unlucky b) Don't have a good finish. Take your pick. I believe you make your own luck in football. So it's B for me. Each to his own no?

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Dec 6 2011, 06:23 AM)
Unless I watch the wrong game, even the commentators said both teams are evenly match. At the end of the day, it's down to one man decision that ruined the whole game. How could one be happy about that? It's not about the blame game. It's about feeling hard done by the referee. It's true we could have won the game if we play better but we would not lose if it wasn't the dubious decision. It's a difference between getting a point and getting none and having a player suspended for 3 matches for nothing! That's what piss me off.
*
You're not the only one who is frustrated by some dubious decisions by the referee. But it's what makes football, well football.

January coming. Time for some transfer rumours mill. biggrin.gif

Gaston ramirez

Please be true Gaston Ramirez. Kenny is sure fond of Uruguayan players. The rumours have been getting stronger in the last couple of days. I hope we can seal the deal. Linked with Suarez, our attack will be sharpen and become more crucial. Suarez will feel more comfortable working with a fellow countryman. All reports are saying we are the most likely to seal the deal. rclxms.gif

You guys should check this link. They charted the transfer rumours for Liverpool. How many times was mentioned, newest rumours, etc
