for touch screen phone is like that. just to let u know, if i on my display without doing anything, it will drain 1% every 7 minutes. see? so no worries. and is normal if u have to charge everyday. take a look at first page, there are tips on how to safe battery.

yea i heard papago has prob running on gingerbread. as someone suggested use sygic, it works perfect.

download that to ur pc and extract it. root ur phone, install "root explorer" or astro file manager into ur phone. copy that config file into ur phone and use the file manager to copy it to the system, click yes if it ask for replace confirmation.

YES!!... the end..i'm able to upgrade new ver 2.3.5 using Odin. Before that i tried use KIES but failed and my phone cant start.. Odin save my life .. no need send to Samsung svs centre.

Now will try to replace the gps.

Hi guys..
I've problem here, my SGS+ keep restarting itself..sometimes during voice call,messaging...it happen like 3-4 times in a week..sometimes its restart and sometimes its just turn off and i need to turn it on back..
i've been using it around 2 months and it happens since the 1st week..

anybody know what is the issue here?..i'm kind of annoyed especially when it happens during voice call..

as for the gps, first of all is ur phone rooted? second u need a file manager then follow the steps i posted above

did u install any apps lately?

yup but no apps..just few of games...

maybe is cause by that, perhaps u can try to uninstall it and see if the problem still exist, but no promiss though.. don't kill me ya XD
btw are u using local region stock rom? can u help me check to see if ur kernal veriosn is root@DELL89 #1

I think this file not effective if not activate data network.

try to update to 2.3.5..improve in few things.. it's the official update for our region.. u can update through kies or odin.. no need to root also can update..

Just bought this HP 2 days ago for about 950 ( trade in my SE W8 as well ). But really disatissfied with audio quality. Audio quality is horrible when volume reaching 10 or higher when listening music, playing game or wacting video.

SImply talk, bunyi mcm speaker pecah la .........

I read a review about this phone and many reviewers claim this phone having a superb audio quality. But at this time even my old Sony Ericsson W8 have a far better audio quality than the phone I`m having right now .........

Is it becoz of a phone speaker ? Or something else ( audio setting / codec ) . Really lazy to go back to shop lah .......

as i know samsung is not well known for its audio quality, even sgs2 while playing music there's no "feel". u should have gotta htc beats or something perhaps that is better.
or maybe there is a software to help make it better. since i don't listen songs anymore on phone so i don't bother much bout this..lol

lulz. i flash some kernal and that XXKPS performance rom, but now went back to stock liao..
and my system is so mess up lol.. baseband is from xxkps, kernal is custom kernal mix with ori, then version is our region version. but i dont care as long no wakelock
