Don' think its faulty..since I uses my first samsung..non-touchscreen...its sounded like that..kinda sluggish fake blurry sound..till now..But you might do a comparison with your friend..or what just my 50cent

just goto sam service center and confirm. when you go ro their service center. you will notice that that place like gov hospital.

just want to ask what is the latest official version for S+ ? still 2.3.3 ?
when i connected the phone to Kies, new updated was found so i tried update the firmware and every body guess it, the stupid Kies caused my phone hang at 'downloading' screen.....
had to send to nearby samsung center for repair, asked the service center about new firmware but they say still 2.3.3 latest officially.

2.3.5 is latest, if u wan even latest u can flash europe or taiwan 2.3.6

Try - My Backup Pro.....

but, MBP only allows u to backup apk and not data if u didn't root
however still can backup sms, contants, settings, calendar, mms, etc..

seems like the ics rom that mentioned in the chinesse website is some kind of a joke..

yeah. some @$$ hole has too much time to spread rumours.. even sgs2 has no unofficial ics rom. if we get it earlier than them will consider miracle

Your rom can be restore through nandriod restore. Can it bw restore through odin?

im not sure. but i think it doesnt matters anymore, if anything goes wrong, can just enter CWM recovery (vol up+ power) and choose restore. so odin is not necessary anymore

if everything goes fine will add tutorial how to flash cwm..
