i tried to put in another sim card to this phone and the phone just won't boot up.. keep booting n stuck at the samsung galaxy s i9001 screen then restart again.. but if i put back my own sim card then it just boot up fine...

i do installed androidlost..is that one causing problem?

i think you need to root n backup using CWM.. standard recovery come with phone don't hv backup option... but u still can download the stock rom from samfirmware.. so i think there's no need to perform any backup to the stock rom.. correct me if i'm wrong.. smile.gif

nope. try CWM. it should be able to allow u to do a full image backage of ur rom. smile.gif

not tethering..
i mean, create ad-hoc wireless using pc..
i want to share internet connection with phone..
but this phone cant detect the ad-hoc..
any other method besides using connectify..

is it safe to underclock using setcpu for root users app?
can it save the usage of battery?
currently i set max1024 min768..is't ok?
any widget to monitor cpu freq?

nope. i only will use it when it is stable, currently i see there's a lot of user facing FC using that rom.

it won't save much, maybe just to prevent heating. because when idle the phone won't be running at 1.4GHz.. only when it needs to. becareful when u UV, if u set it to too low ur phone might not be able to boot or u will face reboot

just flash it back with the stock rom before sending in for warranty.. like that you can remove cwm and unroot the phone...

i'm using the latest stock 2.3.5 DXKJ2.. it's available for download from sammobile.com

worst come to worst.. just flash the older version if the latest is not available.. and send for warranty and ask them update for u biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
