hi. the wake up lag not border me much. the lag mostly occur when I browse and scroll between page. it so lag and make the scroll like don't want to move. my gb rom do not give this kind of response.
also the deep sleep in gb is working.

Well I manage to flash EhndroiX 12.8.24 with TCWM.

But now my phone just stuck while booting ( stuck at black screen with a word "by WINDMAN67 )....... What happen now guys ? Soo frustrating .........

Must wait for a while,if doesnt boot (worst case senario)have to pull out battery,and try again.

Mine browsing etc... sometimes having slightly lag like scrolling..zooming consider accecptable but not as your lag situation.... hmm

Anyway... this ICS ROM still got minor bugs not like GB 100% bug free.. super rock stable

me not looking back using GB...pretty much forward on ICS.. haha

Looks good. Mine lasted for around 10 hrs but with wifi on most of the time

Set CPU minimum 368MHz, maximum 1024MHz, CPU governor to SmartAssV2.
Smooth and fluid
Btw, I don't have any games installed, only social apps, important tools, etc.

Well finally I`m using EhndroiX. Thaks guys for your advice.......

But how do you guys set a CPU ? Can't find it............

Try Mobo player ........ I also tried other player but this is the best IMO............

i face the same thing as u too. other than that no issue with it.

I try to install this rom again. also try CastagnaIT Kernel v4.7 kernal.
I confirm this rom very lag. set CPU min to 1400 also very lag when scroll through browsing.

I return back to gb. very smooth and just I slice of finger will cause the page scroll from top to bottom.

so will still stick to gb for now.

which gb rom and kernal are you using? i might consider going back to gb too.

i9001dxle1 + skyhigh. so far the best performance, no hang and battery saver I ever try. everytime I try new custom rom. it turn me down and return to this again.

Well...what i said before, we cannot expect this custom ICS to be as like GB super smooth n rock stable ... if Samsung never abandon us...we all have no issues ....able to received stock ICS from them

this is their marketing strategies to buy their flagship models Even thou Xperia phone got ICS support from Sony including Non flagship and flagship models like my sister using xperia neo v

there are pro and cons between GB n custom ICS... just bear with it...

lesson learn... next time buy nexus model.. supported by google personally..hehe

agreed!

but after using ICS, it feels much better than GB so i'm not gonna flash back to GB.

haha yea. but sometimes recieve update too quickly also no good, coz those apps in google play takes time to update to work with the new version, eg: jelly bean

mine doesnt have smartassv2 ,have to flash latest version?

you have to flash CastagnaIT kernel...if want to use this option.. find it in xda dev section


I didnt want yet using this kernel.. bcoz original kernel is sufficient enough to serve me well..

Ironicly,it became worse,so fast battery drain,more lag.maybe i should stick with gb roms 1st.
