What's wrong with you? After talking about GOLD replacing currency now want to talk about petrol dollar. Instead of worrying about this why don't you worry on how to secure yourself a home? Recently when i'm hunting for my 3rd condo i get to see that the newly launch condo were mostly sold out. Only left over units with no good feng shui, no good house number were left. Have you every thought that alot of property launches only last for 3 DAYS and not a week or two. Why so? Bank tighten the Home Loan from gross to NETT and yet ppl are still buying home like hot cakes.

I already have a bank draft in hand for the deposit for an apartment newly launch in Setia Alam but accordingly to my lubang... If i go tomorrow with my bank draft most likely i need to eat dust. Launch 1st day and the low cost apartment was nearly sold OUT. Those who pre-register before the lunch was more than 9k+ people and yet some ppl is babbling about price going down la, burst here and there, economy no good la and yada yada.

You guys have forgotten 1 important rule. When the buying stops so will the killing but in this case When the buying stops so will the building. Until the day i see ppl stop buying i don't think we are anywhere near bubble. It's up to you to judge from here onwards. Good Luck

wah... geng. i worked until i die, cumulative salary also dont't have 6 mil.

not surprise to me, if one sold all his prop holding (espeically shops) in one particular year can easily reach 6mil.
nowaday, one shop easily can earn more than 1 mil.  3-5 shops can reach 6mil liao.
own 3-5 shops is common today.

but why sell the shops when can earn more in future? If the location is good.

it's the same analogy with houses. today's price and future's price. because it's calculated based on cost to build the product at today's pricing even though the product could have been up and ready. not forgetting interest on loan charges are all factored in.

isn't it same for gold. the ring in the shop that retails for rm60/gram. same ring, same shop, same design. what's the cost of the ring now?

It's harder to buy a home now. Our family is experiencing this now with grown children in the housing market. . Lenders are more cautious and so are appraisers. Trying to hit a falling target is more difficult than a rising one because price rises cover everyone's mistakes.

I think implementing a flat rate RPGT of 50% for sales within 5 years (excluding first home sellers) would have helped.

If we can't compare prices of houses in Shah Alam/Cyber with MK property prices, why the so called investors keep saying Malaysian property prices are cheap cheap compared to other countries?? if comparing SA to MK is comparing orange to apple as you claimed, then comparing Malaysian property with singaporean property will be like....... comparing apple to aeroplance ?? perhaps????    

bro, take the below example. agree that some part of MK is technically Segambut, but how about Tmn Tun cheaper than Sri Kembangan? Academia LH looks like a flat/ apartment & built on a cracked+dead shopping mall but still sold out.
