not using 50mm to 60mm convertor?
*
Bought 2pcs of this but decided not to use.
I think the position of that G1/4 inlet is annoying.
I can turn the whole thing until it stops at one angle only which is far from my desired angle.
Hope the inlet is moveable.

i need to use G14 extender becoz i cannot screw bitcompression directly to it. Feel like i cannot fully screw the fitting completely.
*
Yaya same as EK res' u cant screw compression fitting completel; must use G1/4 extender otherwise it will leak. Blame its bad design lol.

but if u read the first link i posted above it says

QUOTE
if so, we will advise customers to break the seal, open up the waterblock and try to clean/polish the problematic spots as described below. Customers will not void warranty on craftmanship by doing so. If the problem persists there is still a possibility for returning the waterblock in for replacement.

why only ek facing this problem?? are they trying to cut corners??
*
EK's old nickel plating (non-EN) method was claimed to have too thin nickel layer to provide adhesion on the copper layer. But it's solved with the new EN version so when u buy any EK nickel-plated wb make sure that u grab this EN. Anyway, I don't have this nickel flaking problem on my non-EN wbs though. HF + 2x FC-580GTX+ + MIVE block + Dom RAM block all plexi+Ni all okay. nod.gif

hi all.,the new compression.,need u all opinions bout these new comp.. nod.gif
*
i personally dislike the look of them, in the end you have to grab the tubing just like all other fittings. Bitspower compression fitting is enough for me as I don't need a wrench, just hold the tubing & 1/4 turn. But it's good to see more companies are putting some different stuff on the market, more choices of colours & design.
