Might be due to case & GC IO plate becomes thicker after the paint job. I prefer using EK Geforce 1-slot IO plate to minimize this issue. But I believe the bent PCB doesn't affect performance of the card anyways.

irie, either your GC or PCIE slot is not aligned correctly with your casing expansion hole.

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Dec 27 2011, 11:15 PM) This looks like a Power Color card. They tend to use red PCB even for referenced card. I'm not a big fan of the plate there, EK has been using them since "V2" blocks. A LYN reseller has confirmed with me that today he just sold one Sapphire 7970 with a black PCB. Same like the posted picture only with Sapphire sticker on it. I sure hope ATI/AMD reference cards are not going to be red.... ![]() QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Dec 27 2011, 11:21 PM) Flash bios 7950 to 7970 |

QUOTE(irienaoki @ Dec 28 2011, 03:26 AM) question here +1, it looks quite concentrated. if me i would dilute it with distilled water harmlessly.can i mix/add clear coolant @ distill water into EKoolant Blood Red since it s look to dark for me any harms doing that? since it stated "do not mix with other liquids" don't bother with the warning, as their wb also they recommended us to use their coolant & fittings. |

QUOTE(Dennos @ Dec 26 2011, 01:19 PM) [attachmentid=2605036] Bitspower tube (60mm) can fit on EK bottom (60mm) perfectly. So i don't see why it can't pair with the dual top.is it possible to use bitspower reservoir on EK D5 dual top by adding the "EK-Multioption RES X2 - LINK50/60 1xG1/4"? The dual top thread has a 50mm for the multi option link. EK-Multioption RES X2 - LINK50/60 1xG1/4 http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/reservoi...-60-1xg1-4.html FYI. EK non x2 resr 50mm EK x2 resrvoir 60mm Bitpoweser reser 60mm the LINK50/60 adapter has 50mm thread one side & 60mm on the other side. Added on December 28, 2011, 7:23 am QUOTE(irienaoki @ Dec 28 2011, 07:06 AM) okay will mix it with distill i think he's using a diluted coolant, can't trust much. compared mine with a guy name steve with L3p modding, mine is darker than the one he used same coolant This post has been edited by owikh84: Dec 28 2011, 07:23 AM |

QUOTE(pennykia @ Dec 28 2011, 09:15 AM) His 920 D0 is golden batch 3845xxxx to 3849xxxxShould hv no problem to hit 4.5GHz HT off @ 1.35v, but enabling HT will need empirically more than 1.4v kissing my old cooling limit, thats why i couldnt do 4.5GHz HT. |

QUOTE(hantarkatsini2 @ Dec 30 2011, 04:52 PM) Apparently the backplate for Raystorm for LGA2011 is not compatible with RivE because the CPU backplate is bigger.. Need to order the fix from XSPC. Just a heads up for anyone considering to get Raystorm for their RivE. Afaik raystorm doesnt come with 2011 mounting bracket so u hv to use the provided 1366 bracket and x-socket provided by rive. |
