what pump are you planning to use? get a 35x and forget the top and keep your pump warranty and possibly some cash. biggrin.gif. unless warranty doesn't really matter to you. haha!

Yup get the mcp35x. It's great performance comes with pwm and with warranty

the mcp35x is better than the d5 in terms of pressure and it can be pwm controlled which makes it even better than d5

haha pkai rim waja...
dri pengalaman aku x pernah guna 1 pump utk semua loop2 kecuali pada mula2 main wc..pengalaman hitam on system tapi x perasan pump gagal berkerja akibatnya cpu kebaboom cry.gif dari situ aku mula guna 2 pump..1 mcp355 pump utk tolak,1 pump mcp655 tuk sedut air dan yg penting kalau salah 1 pump gagal berkerja  1 lagi leh support...semua org tau yg mcp355 untuk loop panjang so dia memang sesuai tuk push air ke loop dan 655 tuk seduk air dri res ke rad..

hello there sifus...I wanna make a cpu+single gpu loop...I wanna ask if 240mm radiator is enough for the cooling or I must use the 360mm radiator? tq
*
U will need a better fan to pair up with that rad to get more air to flow through ur rad n yet more quiet when operating at high speed..240mm rad is okay..depends too on ur GC..if ur GC is those high end card that always run on high setting or ultra setting...then..hmm..u may be need to consider a larger rad..if not it will result like not much different with air cooling..*and ur WC setup may just be a waste of money

yup its performance is great especially in restricted loops, for me its just cpu at the moment but of course once got enough money will cool the gpu also brows.gif about the warranty if I am not mistaken xspc / alphacool wont void the warranty if change the pump top. I heard something like this before, only swiftech comes with a sticker but I am not 100% sure though or was it bitspower? laugh.gif

Reason why I prefer the D5 is its famous for reliability, dont usually hear problems from it & runs cool. If I get the mcp35x I must get the heatsink as I am afraid of the heat it produces, but then to think about it, I wont be running 100% full load so maybe the mcp35x might have longer lifespan. So hard to make decisions rclxub.gif

But I do like the mcp35x though, it will fit perfect with my setup, coz I will be using the bitspower z multi res, so I could use a male to male adapter to connect to the pump & leave it hanging below my res with a fan blowing the heatsink drool.gif

If you run at 30 percent it is not that hot. Cool and nice

Or you can spend rm9 and buy 60mm fans that directly blow into the mcp35x. The fan fits the motor perfectly with all the screw threads align well. Just need to buy longer screws. Got my papst fan from pasar road

Ya that's my plan if I get it & couldn't get the heatsink. Or maybe just get a corsair fan and mount it at an angle so that it blows air to the pump & my GPU...
