If budget not constrained, can consider the Atmosphere Sky, costed around 5k, having one of the most advanced technology

I'm using sharp air purifier, FP-J30L-A.

Basically the most basic sharp air purifier.

Saw that HEPA filter are sold real cheap on shopee. Around rm30+. Just wondering are you guys replacing it by buying such HEPA filter? Just abit too cheap to be true.

I use atmosphere for around 7 years and atmosphere sky for 2 years........ im no longer suffer from sinus after wake up.......
and most importantly atmosphere sky able to reduce down to 0.0024 airbourne contaminats, it's pretty impressing

im using fua800ew ( https://my.sharp/products/air-care/62m2-pla...r-fua80ew?v=818 ) and i think need to replace the Dust Sensor filter, it is a very tiny square filter. any idea where to get it replaced?

Which model & why you need an air purifier?
Venta air purifier using water as the filter.
The benefits of using water as filter is that the particles of water is small enough so that able to filter those small particle contaminants in the air.
However, the disadvantages are:-
- may cause the surroundings more wet, the wet condition may encourage the bacteria to grow
- if you use water tap water, the chlorine in the tap water may cause 2nd pollution
- if you use filtered water, there is no chlorine and viruses may not be killed.

According to CDC and KKM, air purifier with HEPA is the better way to treat the air.

regarding whether venta would cause over humidity, i done a simple test here to show. GOod thing is venta does not use filter and DC motor, so u can leave it on 24hours. If HEPA, it will get clogged fast if u leave it on 24hr and costly to replace

If for sinus, still recommend you to find air purifier with HEPA

Why you want a air purifier? there must be a reason behind your intention to get one.

Otherwise, people probably just recommend u either the cheapest or the most expensive one.
and someone even having few cats at home with no air purifier.

cat's fur, remove odor... basically cat
sometimes living room got weird smell.

Try look for Amway distributor/IBO for their latest Air purifier known is Atmosphere mini. It came with 3 filtration system, pre-filter to filter your cat furs or other big particles like dust/hair.
Hepa filter and carbon filter, carbon filter able to filter odor as well (or any other VOC/2nd hand smoke etc)

I still using their previous generation. I got another Xiaomi purifier but I think for animals fur, is best to get a stronger fans. the mini iinm cost around RM2.9k

Is not about the brand, is about overall the product offer such as what kind of media/filter they use, and then the room size needed for the CADR, other misc feature like wifi/smart etc or energy star for electricity saving or silent mode etc, warranty coverage, parts in the next 10 years etc etc.

I would recommend Atmosphere Sky (the mini one because is cheaper - via Amway), and then BlueAir - specific model only (can be found at Harvey Norman authorised reseller), or Xiaomi (available Online/Offline everywhere)

Cuckcoo and Coway only their high end one are great, the lower end or middle end doesn't value for money, but I long time no survey their updated model.

i have both Xiaomi and Amway Atmosphere Sky.

would highly recommend amway.

I would like to point out actually is almost the same. If assume we all follow the guideline change filter as per the Air Filter manufacturer.

Mine Xiaomi 3H required every 180 days to change the filter, let's say I buy it via Shopee/Lazada, it probably cost around RM100, so would end up annual fee at RM200 (before any sort of discount/sales)

I have Amway Atmosphere too. There are 2 media need to replace, 1 is HEPA and another 1 is Carbon. HEPA cost around RM580 and Carbon cost around RM480.
HEPA life span are somewhat between 3-5 years depending the speed/hours u use and the Carbon life span are around 1-2 years also depending usage.

If we put aside the Carbon into comparison since the 3H doesn't able to filter odour since no Carbon inside but HEPA only. RM200/year x 3 = RM600 which almost similar to the Amway HEPA filter.

Thats why, buyer need to know what is the purpose of air purifier usage, and the cost of the maintenance as well. I'm still using both but the Amway I no longer buy Carbon filter due to I no need to filter any second hand smoke or VOC or funny smelling in my house. I only replace the HEPA both of my device.

That one is a joke when u look at the technical performance of CADR. Any air purifier in the showroom can pwned it in no time.
