That does not mean nobody will want to buy. People will continue to buy properties as long as SG maintains an open, buoyant, competitive and effecient economy. Immigration here is a breeze compared to alot of other countries and coupled with low income tax, it will lure the very best or the cream of the crop. These people have the means and money and they will need a place to stay.

SG economy will NEVER fail as long as they keep their open, buoyant, competitive and effecient economy and continue their generous immigration policies for the RIGHT people. This means skilled or senior management people who are movers and shakers of economy in their own respective countries. These people create jobs for others. They practically could create money out of thin air (with their brains). Its called human talent. Something Malaysia is seriously lacking. And because they do not rely on natural resources, they are not worried that it will eventually run out.

SG gov NEEDS to control the market to AVOID over speculation or under investment. Property prices that are too high or too low is not good for any country. The trick is to find equilibrium.
