is kompany really that good?
i feel there are some vital defending stats that he's lacking
so i never took the chance to get him

dude... i just finished the season and Kompany was voted 2nd behind Duff (1st) for European Champions Cup best player... a constant 8-9-8-9 and clears the box without mistakes unlike Gallas and the rough Carvalho

his stat is just unbelievable... but still i prefer him to play in DM position....

wah u so lucky..i got 100mil to spend for first season, and 23mil for the following for chelsea onli.if i play RM, it's onli 60mil starting..

i heard on chivu...stats so-so but my scout ask me to buy....vincent kompany frm which club? i prefer metzelder (germany) and bonera (italy)

in my game, it's nearly impossible to get rooney and ronaldo. but i can easily get lampard, robben and cole. cole not as gd as expected. kaka also. but lampard performace very consistent. so far these are the best players i like

midfielders - gerrard (mission impossible to get his first 2 seasons), c ronaldo, kaka, a robben, xabi alonso (cheap & consistent), shaun w p

podolski, answered.....sneijder is versatile.... schweinsteiger, bastian from bayern.... kompany from anderlecht.... for nice players recommendation..... 1st of all... u need 2 install Football Manager 2006 from SI!!!

should buy Torres if you have the money... try pairing him up with any good old birds in the first season... i paired him up with Crespo... both scored around 60+ goals... then Crespo got injured and i paired him with either Drogba, as a lone striker, or Drogba-C.Cole-Torres combination (Sandwich Tactic)

Sandwich Tactic: 3DC, 1DM, 2WB, 1AMC, 3ST... but you need a very strong team of DC and DM to pull it off

Now thats why i buy Carignano trying to pair him up with Torres cos Carignano's profile sez 'dubbed the next Hernan Crespo' lol

seems like only chelsea will be able to afford him

85 quids dude... milked me dry of my 130M transfer budget... now i realized i got too many players... 6 strikers, god knows how many defenders... There can only be one Torres he scores the same league goals as RVN in all competitions but got 2nd place in Golden Boot.. check out my post in FM Records thread

Here's how my 2 new strikers doing.

- Cesar Carignano. His stats like crap only compared to Torres but he scored 6 goals in 3 games for me. 4 against Southampton, and 1 each against Portsmouth & Charlton.

- Diego Tardelli. Tireless striker. He came on as sub against Portsmouth & scored 2 goals within 2 minutes.

Poor Torres n Crespo.. only scored 2 goals each. Drogba & Carlton Cole never been on the field.

his finishing is quite poor anyway

young talents? try kompany,vanden borre, leo messi ,carlos magno , arouca ,kerlon & please dont give up on fabregas, i kept playing him & he improved to a very very high level stage where most of his stats are now 20.

drogba n carlton cole most of the time only help opponent's keeper raise their ratings... ... but Cole also score a lot of goals against rivals... i remember 2 against MU... one from the penalty box of my own area !!

i've bought sneijder (quite good, better than robben for his cheap price) but performance not consistent 5-6-6-5-7. kompany i use him defense..so far no flaw but not consistent as well. try to get torres but dont wanna sell...bought rooney and really gd buy..feel like selling baptista..what you think? will try ur other players recommended

someone's lost

Isshhh... getting those potential star nowsadays are getting really hard... my scouts always told me buying this and that young player will trigger x million of compensate fee. Make me feel scare now whenever someone recommend someone is really good and I have scout first before I offer unless there is another club already put up their offer.

Btw, I dont really think the scout's comment can be trusted, I had Rosenborg in my team and his stat are really nice (I guess that's why I paid 8.5m for him) and know what, my scout told me Rosenborg have no future in his football career. After a few matches, Queiroz still telling me that Rosenborg will never get a place in the team because possess "not enough" quality. But I insist to play him to replace Rooney (actually rooney is injured for few months, ouch). And Rosenborg non stop scoring, score in every match he played. So when I check Quieroz comment again, now he told me Rosenborg is a useful member in the squad, what the heck... I guess it's true that the comment from coaches and scouts are based on the player current form rather than their potential ability, that's really sux. Now I'm thinking to sack all of my scouts and ask my club offer me a better contract... isshhh.
