well, any team oso can beat chel easily in this game provided that u got the right players, right tactics and right training. but be prepare for chel to come and bid on ur most-in-form player at ridiculous bid amount.

I find that the longer you stay in the game, the better youth academy intakes you get... but still Chelsea gets shit youths...probably 1 good one in 80 youths. This season they gave me 99m transfer fee, but I got no usage for it, so I bought a cheap promising young left back for 2.5m to replace Del Horny and Deschacht (both 29) and a keeper from France for 7m. Will post their screenie tmr. The keeper is definitely not a regen.

I'm changing my tactic from counter 4-4-2 to att 3-4-3. Worked well so far into the season.

GK: Petr Cech
DC: JT // Kompany // VDB
WBL: Arjen Robben
WBR: Jonathan
MC: Javier Mascherano // Wesley Sneijder
ST: Kaka // Valeri Bojinov // Marcelinho

2nd Team

GK: Francisco Guillermo Ochoa
DC: Mark Elliott // Deschacht // VDB
WBL: Leo Messi
WBR: John Janssen
MC: Craig Ford // Dean Hogg (both dubbed as new Lampard)
ST: Sergio Aguero // David Reid // Cesar Carignano

No more place: Afellay, Lampard, that Frenchie GK, that English WBL, Joe Cole, Essien (Arsenal offered 29m for him), SWP, Amaral (injured). I might have missed out some midfields... I have shit loads of them

Glen Johnson i got rid for 2.1m... crespo played for a season before i relegated him to Reserves... got rid of him for 500K (32 y/o)... Use him as much as you can cos nobody will wanna buy him. Guddy you can dispose to MU for as much as 30m MAX. They always bid for guddy. Just offer to them for 11.5m and when they ask raise the price to 26m.

- Essien: Play till his price is 19m and Arsenal will always bid for 29m

- Robben: never sell him

- J.Cole: dont sell, keep him you'll see his price reaching 20m by 28 y/o

- Duff & SWP: sell after 1st season

i'm trying to bring in extremely gifted youngsters now (preferably spanish hehe)

i haven't spent alot the previous few seasons so my budget is now 155mil euros. thinking of blowing the bank to bring in fabregas who in the last 2 seasons has now become a midfield general thumbup.gif

I need a lot of youngsters to play in plastic cup competitions like FA and League Cup. So does England international, their price raised by a million after 1 full 90 min senior England game (Mark Elliott from 0 slowly climb to 1m after 6 months, Craig Ford 1.9m to 3.4m & Dean Hogg 2.0m to 4.1m). I need to observe the fixture table a lot to get 25-28 y/o regulars fit for big games.

eh? lolz, that's why when i first come to teh club, i always make sure all players are on "backup" player contract. the wage i don't care. what i do care is that when the renewing time comes again he will sure be happy with a "backup" averange wage

Just give him a contract and let him play while you search for a perfect replacement. You dont wanna buy this and that fella until your squad grows like mine (although I have usage for all of them laugh.gif )... Most of the time it will be these teams buying these Chelsea players

1. Liverpool: Duff, Geremi, Ferreira, Gallas
2. Arsenal: will bid for Cudiccini, Carvalho, and Essien
3. MU: Gudjohnsen (100% will buy him), Essien, bid for SWP
4. Mid table clubs will bid for Diarra, Johnson, and Steven Watt... sell them

The problem with Chelsea is both Joe Cole and Robben plays btter on the left, and you'll be having headaches deciding to choose who plays there. Worse, you can never resist paying 12-13m for Leo Messi, but Messi is trainable as striker in a very short period of time. Some players I'll recommend to play in first 11.

1. Del Horno: his stats will grow freaky soon
2. Anthony Grant and Michael Mancienne. Train them. But I sold them.
3. Drogba ( i think it was 15 assists a season )
4. Geremi can get an average 7-8 ratings on both right back and right wing.

Becareful when you play SWP just make sure you have a strong right back to support him. He always tak guna when it comes to set piece defending. Try replacing him with Wesley Sneijder. You'll need to pay 21m for him.

Let me see if i can recall my squad (im in office)

GK: Cech, Ochoa, "French guy" (3)

Defenders: VDB, Kompany, John Terry, "English guy", Del Horny, Deschacht, Leonardo, Jonathan, Mark Elliott, "Spanish guy on loan", Giovanni Perrone (11)

Midfielders: Michael Essien, Craig Ford, Dean Hogg, Wesley Sneijder, Ibrahim Afellay, Amaral, SWP, Joe Cole, Arjen Robben, Frank Lampard, John Janssen, Javier Mascherano, "Some country kid" (14)

Hybrid Mid/ST: Leo Messi, Kaka, Sergio Aguero (3)

(Pure) Strikers: Valeri Bojinov, Marcelinho, David Reid, Cesar Carignano (4)

Now I realized i got 35 players in my squad. ZOMFG.

I'll post more updated pix tmr (Afellay, Hogg, Ford, Janssen, Elliott, French Guy, English Guy, Reid) Amaral injured. Im really enjoying the game in 2010 with all these youngsters.

you need to rotate them, each game change wingers since u got 4. That'll keep them happy. First season at Chelsea will be quite complicated to keep the players happy, once you got hold of it it'll be fine. Just let those un-fancy players play around 10-15 games per season it's ok d.

If you buy new strikers always pair them with Crespo. Drogba can be used as super-sub. Remember to set your set piece so they will deliver the ball to target man's head when you field Drogba. He got 2 header goals when I did that.

Same here. Usually I buy MF that can double as forward or centre MF. that way even tho i have forward injured i still have plenty in reserve.

I only have Genro and Torres as out and out strikers (Henry is backup. He's too old now, but man he still can cause problems for defenders).
For others, i have
RV Persie <-- now the best winger in the game, but I usually will pair him with Torres at the front and then bring him down to AML during the 2nd half. Usually will score in every game nowadays
Leo Messi <-- AMR/C. Have the ability to shoot teh cheekiest of goals from the halfway line
W. Sjneidjer <-- Winger extrodinaire. can play in any place. very reliable too with goals
Gerrard. <-- best overall player in the game IMHO. now he can play in just anywhere except SW and GK.
Manuel Benitez <-- Spain U18 that i picked up after being left out of Barca. Reliable winger and crosser. can score goals but not as often as others.
Theo Walcott <-- I just hope that the real one can be as good as him. He just can score from anywhere anytime.
Cesc Fabregas <-- rock solid MF general. Lampard of arsenal you can call him. he's not and AMF, but his long shot will easily beat any GK anyday
Jose Reyes <-- very fast on the breaks. but not as reliable. He's good when ur team is 1 or 2 goals down.

you'll need to try it yourself... each of our game differs, its up to u where you wanna play him cos once he break into that position, its all natural to him compared to the other available position playing.
