CONFIRM illegal to JPJ

Hi...i received a letter from JPJ n need to go there on the 13th march..
Its says that i didnt stop on the red light..
normally what did they will do..or could be they will issue a summons..

Please allow me to ask 2 questions regarding the JPJ compound issues:

OVER CROSSING TRAFFIC LIGHT
a. Last year on year 2011, I was dreaming while driving and could not realized that a JPJ orange Fortuner was right behind my car. OMFG!! I was waiting for traffic light to go green but suddenly, I felt some urgency for speeding and I blindly followed an EX5 making a u-turn meanwhile the traffic light still pending on red

DRIVING LICENSE
b. I was chased by the patrol orange Fortuner and they stopped me beside the main road. Then, 2 officers were checking on my ID and driving license. Peculiarly, I also have forgotten to renew driving license. I admit this was my utmost clumsiness and carelessness because I never take this matter seriously which I have repeated offence in year 2010 and year 2011.

I would appreciate if any fellow lowyat members can share their view and advice on the above matters. Currently, I'm having 2 pending unsettled compound happened in year 2011 for traffic light (rm300) and driving license expiry (rm100 as per last year compound rate in 2010). I was wondering would JPJ impose interest for failure or overdue in making payment. I need to settle it once and for all within March to avoid further delay in road tax renewal.

Hi to all...went to JPJ today & they have issue summons (RM300) for not stopping on the red light..
and cannot appeal or what so ever...

Peculiar. I still have 2 pending unpaid fines of traffic light and driving license. However, I managed to retrieve new road tax at post office and to my surprise, my road tax renewal was smoothly transacted without any hassle. Strange? My compounds were issued in year 2011 and to-date, I can still renew my road tax.

Does any forum member here experience same situation like mine?? Please share

My insurance N roadtax will expired this april...will try to renew the roadtax at post office soon..N if i used Myeg to renew is it possible?

Not Legal. Normally recon/used car dealer will change it first to clear one then change it back after puspakom test.

Hi, i got this problem many years already. i got summon in year 2004 due to expired road tax and insurance. settled this in court and paid the compound in year 2008. but i didn't go to jpj to pass the receipt of payment to jpj. now the receipt was missing . got problem i want to renew my driving licence because no record of payment.

went to the court to find they still keep my record of payment. problem: i didnt remember when i paid the compound.
thus, they cannot find mine.

so how do i settle this with jpj?

for sure i don't want to pay twice for the same mistake.

I am looking to tender for SSXXXXS number hoh, the "Nombor Terkini" on JPJ website says that it is still at "SS8544R", but then on the right panel, it says "Isn Okt 08 @ 8:00- Sel Okt 23 @12:00 SS 1 T - SS 9999 T".

Does that mean it is too late to get SSXXXXS now? Or it is not gonna be available? Thanks!

OK, i got some question to ask here.
Few day ago, police stop me for carrying overweight goods with my pick up. Almost 1.6 ton, i got GDL, D, E1 license and the pickup are not company own vehicle that need to be tested at puspakom or having weight limit on them. So the big question is can he summon me? i am not driving dangerously and the car with loaded weight is just 3600kg.

If it does not exceed the rated weight specified by manufacturer then should be fine.
