2nd Pit Stop - Lunch: Chai Leng park (nice hawker food)...
Drive into Island - Via Bayan Lepas, up Balik Pulau, down towards Jelutong (or Gurney)...
3rd Pit Stop - Komtar Chendol (the chendol to die for)...
Free and Easy till dinner
4th Pit Stop - Dinner: Gurney Drive....

But most of the above places parking is not easy, esp if we wanna park next to each other.... but fun day it will be....

I have played with them.... these are the ones that's tough to beat.... Accord, Camry, E-Class, 5-Series all kena tapao oredi....

On streets, its the one that reads the road the best wins (when to swerve, when to be patient and not swerve when they do, etc), not to mention the one with the strongest heart and the toughest balls... here technique and not torque wins....

On highways, they usually lead (due to their torque)... but u can catch up at corners or at traffic... then you lose to their torque again....

With remap, and Mivec kicking in earlier, lets see again in highways.....

How old is your bro Inspira?? Most of us dont have such problems.... but have he changed his engine oil (and regularly)? How about cleaning the air filter (knock and blow air if paper filter, chemical clean if K&N)?

That is an Evo X front bumper, Evo X side skirt with bottom lip, Evo X rear diffuser, Inspira duck lip (haha).... painted in matt black paint...

Rims is Wedssports SA-67 blue chrome ( ), better if you get replica BBS as its the ori rims for Evo X....

You can try Robert of Rainbow Kepong, he have these bumpers, skirts and bottom lips (mostly of FRP as its the cheapest).... but do source and squeeze him for price, he is notorious for cutting throat of those who have not done their homework...

For reference, AllenZz have done his set (Evo X front, skirt - no side bottom lips, and rear) from JB Vox Motorsports for RM3000 IINM....

Wedssports SA-67 18" can get arnd RM2500 (without tyres), someone got his 17 for RM1500....

Added on November 16, 2011, 12:48 pmThe surface is not smooth finish like regular paintwork, its rough like sandpaper (but not as abrasive la)...

Dirt will accumulate on the small grooves, bird shit will stay inside, acid rain watermarks very apparent.... all will occur if you dont wash the car very regularly (once a day)... the car looks nice from far, but these dirt and imperfection will show very clearly if you are near...

To re-paint, you need to pay more to get the matt layer blasted off the surface.... more cost when painting, and more cost when removing....

AllenZz wont agree with you....

The pic rims is also a taiwan made wedssports SA-67, which is as good as any replica.... if you go fast into a deep pothole, any rims oso cannot tahan.... but ori rims are better than replica due to the manufacturing process and the materials used, and that's why is more expensive...


Half-cut Evo X cant be found at RM20-30K, market price should be arnd RM50-80K.... and the hell in adapting it into Inspira (ACS la, TCS la, 4WD la, adjustable suspension la... imagine if one wiring harness to the ACS is missing....!!) will be too costly and too time consuming.... AND you need to mod to widebody and to change the round fuel cap to SQUARE cap.... so all in would prolly cost over RM100K for total coversion... the fella sold off the Evo X for other reasons, not coz he worry butthurt.... LGT will butthurt but not Evo X, its a diff category of car compared to Inspira...


For K&N, you can either buy the cleaning kit and DIY as per instructions (involves dipping in chemical, cleaning, air drying and re-oil), or go to the shops that offer cleaning (for about RM15-25)....

Not true.... you find more Myvi, Kelisa, etc than you will find Inspira or LGT....

Chai Leng park have good ang tau sng ma, with pasembur.... the corner Koon Kee (i think have good curry me, ooo peng and good loh bak.... down the street have another shop very good prawn mee.... all have for lunch....

Komtar chendol refers to the lorong wan lor.... cant even park one car there.... but must eat....

Gurney food is so so, but ambient is good, esp for KL-ites....

BM famous duck egg CKT need to wait super long wan... also damn hard to park but can double/triple park.... Or else can go the brother shop in Indrawasih (donno how to spell) for lunch too.....

BTW, me not from PG....

Cheh... just because he is using BE by Breyton... must mention that name first.... but hor, most brands now have manufacturing in China/Taiwan... ie Advanti, WedsSports (ori) la...

ngjx: Ori in my context = Original rims, be it OEM stock rims in LGT or Inspira.... and original brands as mentioned by Mr-Riding-on-Breyton himself above....

BTW, Ori rims on Evo X is by BBS, they costs arnd RM8000 per set of 4....

We do Genting (skywards) drive this week....

Then we do North convoy TT next month... and after that we do South convoy TT.... all via LYN ( )....

South have more active members doing TT, and also more visitors from KL too..... still regular TT ka???

RM8000 aka RM2000 per rim = so cheap.... most ppl can get 4 rims + tyres for RM2000, aka 1 pc BBS rims...

The Evo X ones are around that price la, as OEM part, this is not those aftermarket part... unless my source cons me lo..... either way i have not financial ability to look at them BBS, even the replicas oso i cant....

Yup, about so.... if ori was 13-16K, you will sell it at 25% cost for 75% loss...???

Breyton and BBS for diff car diff price wan....

BE Breyton are much cheaper for Inspira than for my other car.... same for those BBS ones... diff PCD too (114.3 vs 120) and bigger center bore (70mm vs 72.5)....
