QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Jan 30 2012, 11:53 PM) No. BRSB and the book, plus shipping is 8k+ JPY with EMS, and that, in no way falls under the tax limit. Unless of course, you're referring to combining the item with something else - even then, unless it passes Rm500 including shipping, kastam won't touch your package at all. |

QUOTE(Joshlkw @ Jan 30 2012, 11:59 PM) Haha another thing to note is in said past decade of buying, I've never kena tax... Be it ordering for myself, helping friends with purchases, etc. I don't know but if you asked me, I don't think it warrants a tax for any reason for getting something like that. I've ordered those exclusives previously as well that comes with games and whatnot, sometimes even giving a total of over RM500 (which a lot of people think is within the 'safety zone' before you get taxed out of your life) and yet, they always safely arrive without hassle. Maybe I'm lucky, maybe not. I really can't say for sure but I still believe in ordering on my own. Feels better, somehow. ..then you are very lucky - I've visited Kastam so many times that the officers know me on sight OTL. I believe getting slightly over Rm500 is okay (I've had a few myself) but grossly over the limit with large boxes or multiple boxes, and they'll happily kidnap your package. Out of curiosity though, what shipping do you usually use? All my tax woes have been with EMS shipments. QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Jan 30 2012, 11:57 PM) /shrugsThen the total is 8640JPY. Which is (around) Rm350. Yeah, it's expensive, but unless you're willing to take the risk it'll go on sale later, that's probably(IMO) the best price you'll get it for. |

QUOTE(Joshlkw @ Jan 31 2012, 12:11 AM) Haha I go with SAL Registered mostly unless EMS is absolutely necessary. but mostly I do my own rough calculations and decide which is the best option when the items are ready to ship. Normally a 10-day wait (on average but the fastest I've ever received a shipment is within a week) which is only a bit longer than EMS but I still receive the items nonetheless. A little longer won't kill if it ensure you save up some. Save up a little in each shipment, and before long you'll realize that those same savings has allowed you another new shipment from nothing. Haha. Besides, SAL Registered is trackable as well, so it's all good. ahhh thank you! I'm still somewhat wary of SAL registered, but the EMS fees really add up after time..And I wouldn't count on aiming for the sudden sales for the item. Most of the time, you're gonna have to camp at the site to avoid missing out on it. Not fun to refresh the same page for God knows how many times in the middle of the night. Trust me, I've done it before. But I completely disregard such options nowadays so I don't mind paying it for its worth. QUOTE(Senjou @ Jan 31 2012, 12:27 AM) Ahahaha that's great then. I actually want the artbook though. |

I have no intention of picking up the bundle (however the show does seem pretty good so far), I'm just curious what figma it is. The cast so far already have figmas (apart from the psycho wheelchair chick, and megane DM) so what more can they make..?
Is this figma going to set the record for most expensive figma? |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Feb 9 2012, 08:35 PM) Considering it well above RM1100, it better be the whole cast of figma or the anime had over 100 episodes. But I'm gonna guess it's the wheelchair girl, with well, her wheelchair. I'm laughing so hard right now. 8 episodes and one figma for over RM1000Like Joshlkw said, imagine if it was just another BRS. The anime one has a slightly different coat. ahhh just waiting for preview photos Also, the bluray and the dvd set differs by only 4kJPY ![]() |

QUOTE(Joshlkw @ Feb 13 2012, 08:50 AM) Haha nope, I don't think I'll order the bundle. Well, also partly because they're sold out in Amiami since yesterday evening. LOL ..Well who whould have guessed..Either a lot of rich fans or they had VERY limited stock. This post has been edited by Nichol90: Feb 13 2012, 12:26 PM |

QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Feb 29 2012, 09:20 PM) won't be taxed unless your orders are >RM500. ok here's the confusing part. The RM500 includes postage fees some says rm500 includes postage, some do not. i kena 2 situations before liao so i share. I order from HLJ, exlude postage is 470+. with postage it's 560. kena tax. 2nd time i buy 2 WRS+PSP game from amiami, +postage it's about 550. no kena tax. josh shared to me buy from HLJ got more likelihood of kena taxing, while amiami not. haha There are times if the declared value + shipping goes slightly above RM500, the kastam officers turn a blind eye. I'm not really sure why myself. Of course if you ship something huge/multiple boxes that total greatly over RM500 in a single day..you don't really expect the kastam officers to pretend it's not there. P.S My experiences are all with EMS. Can't say the same for other shipping types This post has been edited by Nichol90: Feb 29 2012, 11:41 PM |
