Yes it has a DC pump. The on/off button is the big one at the bottom.

Dear All,

I need help. I plan to get water heater with DC pump for my house. So far i shortlist 2 brand. Alpha and Joven.

1.) For Joven i found 3 model have DC pump (I90, SL30 & SB11). I go to the shop the sales person say all same just design not same. Can advice me what is the different?
2.) For alpha i am looking at smart 18. Do this water heater good?
3.) If compare alpha and joven which brand you all recommend me and which model is better?

Thank you so much

This is what I know from my search for the instant water heater recently. I narrowed to Joven. So cannot comment on the Alpha brand.
I90p is inverter pump (with option for rain shower)
SL30p is with turbo booster pump
There is also another model SC33p.

If you are looking for strong pump, try the I90p or I88p. This was the advice that I got from Joven customer service.
The different between I90p & I88p is just the design on the heater cover. You have to look closely to be able to notice that.

Try to give sharp water heater a try. Actually it has been servicing me almost 6 years without any problem. its slim and cheaper.
Only some shops carry it, but you can consider.

Add a booster pump. But before you do that do check the existing piping to see if it can take the additional water pressure 1st

hi

i just installed the panasonic dh-3ndp1 water heater with pump. it is working well, the pressure is a bit low even with the pump.

however ,i find that the LCD display is very dim. is it normal? or is the any setting can be done?

I kinda regret buying the pump version, there is no way to control the heater and the pump separately..sometimes i just need the heater without the pump.. too bad..

hi all

Currently my house have a booster pump, and the water heater itself have dc pump?

If I power on the booster pump, will it damage the water heater DC pump?

Thanks icon_rolleyes.gif

The booster pump is after the tank? or after the water storage heater?

i dont think it will damage your water heater. in water heater you have adjustment valve for the pump.

If you use the main booster pump then don't turn the WH pump on, afraid that two pumps will cause over pressure (unless you are using rain shower).
You can check the pressure rating on the booster pump OUTPUT, as long as this pressure within the INPUT pressure range of the WH you are OK.

Hi guys, need advice on how to cover this part for heaters that are fed through wires from the ceiling instead of from the walls. The connections from the ceilings to the heater are all covered but this part was left uncovered as the trunking was not flexible enough to cover it.

Tho the heater is relatively high and no water will be able to get there under normal circumstance but just to be safe and for a piece of mind.

that's the problem,I cannot turn off the WH pump, it's one switch that control the heater and pump together. The booster pump output is around 4bar, the WH input is 3.8bar... sweat.gif
