The key word you missed is "single coated". The following link is to a
Filter review site. It shows the performance difference between single coated and
multicoated filters of popular brands.

Those who plan to buy Marumi filter for their X10 pls compare the
Marumi multicoated( no. 21) with the Marumi single coated(no.20) The single coated
one is basically junk.

Yes, That's the price they quoted for 1pc multicoated shipped using usps first class mail
(no need to sign for it at our end.). They quoted lump sum but this form of shipping
is about usd5.00 so the filter is usd18.00 discounted from usd26 listed. You will notice
they offer very high discounts for their other filters. You need to be clear with them
and specify how may pcs and which form of shipping you prefer.

My x10 with 46mm filter and adapter. Filter same diameter as the zoom ring so
the camera looks like it has a interchangeable lens attached.

Mostly so I can use normal pinch type lens cap. Dont like the original cap
pumping and sucking action when you put on and remove it.( I imagine the dust
circulating in the camera due to that) I have always used filters on all my lens
and dont see any quality difference but I am sure in some situations there will be.
Unlike 52mm or 49mm the 46mm filter dont block the OVF much and looks ok on the lens.

Hey, Orbs are supposed to be round but yours is banana shape.

I seldom get orbs so not bothered by them. I like X10 because its JPEG are
excellent and I am lazy and not good at post processing. Enjoy your camera

Have a look at this site. Compare camera sizes even got the latest
olympus OMD. Same size as x10 without the hump

The BEFORE pic looks better

Others have reported similar results after sensor change. High noise level at
low iso in medium size. It seems to have changed EXR performance somewhat.
Some are going back to old firmware also. I am still on the old firmware and
sensor and quite happy with results i am getting.
warranty 3 mths left still dunno whether to change sensor or not

Maybe they gave you a new lens too as reported by some US owners.
You have posted some nice pic of Malacca in the past. You can
help me decide by snapping some daylight pic of Malacca colourful
river scene (some using EXR mode ) when you are free and post it here.
Nowdays Malacca is so colourful and much improved. Its a photographer
dream becos everything is within walking distance.

On page 16. IMAGE QUALITY COMPARED(JPEG) I compared with XZ-1
and S95 and find the X10 is softer than XZ-1 at various iso. It is
also not much better than S95. Is it my tired eyes or the new
sensor. hmmmmmmm. To change or not to change to new sensor

Ha ha, It is so hard to resist when something new and free of charge
is offered. I avoid PP due to lack of skill and lazyness. Current sensor
SOOC JPEG is very good even with occasional orbs so I will wait
awhile more

I think both are supplied to Fuji by OEM's. The Thumb rest looks exactly
like the new Thumb up EP-6S (new model for X10 only) The EP-5S
for X100 will block the mode dial if used on X10. RM400 plus if
Fuji Malaysia decide to bring in

On the X10 when we use the MULTI AF Mode the camera selects the focus area
automatically and on my camera there is always only one focus frame which turn green.
Most other cameras like the S95 and RX100 there are 4 or 5 focus frames
lighting up the areas in focus at the same time. Is it possible to get multiple focus
frames on our X10? or are my settings wrong somewhere. X10 users please help
Never mind, I will ask Fuji people when I send it fo sensor replacement next month.
