Oh god, I'm scared that I will regret later ..

I'm neither interested in science nor humanity

But I will prefer humanity(business-related) , simply because it's easier than science ..

A senior told me, don't because that it's hard, you choose others, you must face it, so I'm facing dilemma

Will it be a waste for not choosing TARC but form 6 as I can get 50% discount on tuition fees ?

Arts vs Science?
I think it's a real misconception to think that Arts courses would be a breeze. If you are in a good university, you'll soon discover that the volume and reading and the quality of writing expected of students in the Arts is very high. Then again, Science courses (as in Biology etc.) too require these. Engineering and IT, on the other hand, tend to be more numerical / technical and the linguistic skills are not always highly valued. The other factor is relates to thinking skills, as Arts tend to be more qualitative and Science more quantitative. Know your strengths and weaknesses.
Check http://www.malaysia-education.com and you can browse through universities and various courses.

I do because I get better grade in Physics than Biology .. and there're at least some calculations in it ..

Engineering, this is very common for science students .. but I don't think I'm going to any science related course

Actuarial science, is very hard, and will lead a hectic life, I don't wish to ..

Business related courses, I am alright with them

Dear anyone,Im interested in Food science and I graduated from SPM. I picked UCSI for this course because this course is quite rare and ofcourse UCSI is near to my living place. But the problem is "Im not from science stream". UCSI told me that they allow me to take Foundation in Science (and then upgrade to Food Science and Nutrition degree) but they said I cant get PTPTN loan when im studying degree because im not a science stream student(means im not qualified to study Foundation in Science but the faculty and school still let me in). Without ptptn loan i think i cant continue taking this course because my parents cant afford the tuition fee.Is this true?? thats what UCSI told me and im lack of time for thinking wad course to take. 2nd option for me may be Architecturial and ofcourse UCSI too. Im in a very nervous condition now...

Anyone can help??

Any one of you who are really fed-up with yr current employer? Anyone who wants a drastic change of environment?

Have you heard of working in Australia, while studying?

The pros of being in Form 6.
1. Since STPM is rated among the hardest examinations in the world, so you can be more ready for your tertiary education. The most obvious example is STPM v Matriculation.

2. It is worldly recognised and same level as A-Level. So you have chance to enter local universities unlike A-level (very tiny chance).

Caution
In US Education system, they don't have pre-U. After their students completed their high school, they will sit for SAT (Student Applitude Test) then apply for university. So if you plan to further your education in the United States, think properly because although you can transfer your STPM to US, but the credit hours are limited.

The expensive one will be Taylors and Sunway. The average one will be INTI, KDU, UCSI
The cheap one will be Methodist and Stamford.

Fee of course is essential, but you need to know what programme that you will continue after A-level, so the right A-level will decide whether the direction of your dream course.Check out their scholarship as well becox the institution is giving our A-level scholarship like water..... Yes, if you do a foundation in STPM / A Levels etc., it will be generally recognised by all private universities. But if you do a particular private college's foundation programme, it may not be recognised by others. I guess this is to prevent students from hopping between colleges.
You can check http://www.malaysia-education.com/pre-university.html for a list of the top pre-university programmes, and http://www.malaysia-education.com/diploma.html for diploma programmes.

You don't need super SPM results to get a place in many private colleges. Once you get a place, it's like a fresh start; a second chance - just work hard and smart!

Why not do a Degree in IT and then switch to a postgrad in Business Management or Admin?
