QUOTE(kokcc @ Jul 16 2012, 09:28 PM) Hey guys I'm form 5 this year and am interested in business area.BUT i'm a science stream student taking BIOLOGY,CHEMIS,PHYSICS.Fortunately im taking an extra subject account principle. I have told my parents abut my aspiration but they told me that i should go for science because it is wider than art stream. was considering to take accountancy and finance. QUOTE(ffnbnj @ Jul 18 2012, 03:11 PM) do u intend to pursue a pre-u course such as A-level or form 6 or do u intend to take a foundation course? If you have your mind set in doing Accounting and Finance, by all means go for a foundation. If you are still torn between doing Accounting and Finance or followed what your parent wants you to do, please go for an A Level, AUSMAT or SAM. Only go for STPM if you have financial prob or you wish to go into a public uni. Hope it helps!

QUOTE(SoshiBias @ Apr 20 2012, 06:18 PM) Dear anyone,Im interested in Food science and I graduated from SPM. I picked UCSI for this course because this course is quite rare and ofcourse UCSI is near to my living place. But the problem is "Im not from science stream". UCSI told me that they allow me to take Foundation in Science (and then upgrade to Food Science and Nutrition degree) but they said I cant get PTPTN loan when im studying degree because im not a science stream student(means im not qualified to study Foundation in Science but the faculty and school still let me in). Without ptptn loan i think i cant continue taking this course because my parents cant afford the tuition fee.Is this true?? thats what UCSI told me and im lack of time for thinking wad course to take. 2nd option for me may be Architecturial and ofcourse UCSI too. Im in a very nervous condition now... Anyone can help?? Hmmm. Funny case. The only condition of SPM that I know stops you in getting PTPTN loan is you failed your BM. I'm guessing by admitting a non-science stream student into Food Science, this university is actually breaking the policy set by MoHE. Hence, if you apply PTPTN, you are indirectly exposing this matter to MoHE that would really tarnish the university reputation if MoHE decide to investigate.

QUOTE(doublezul @ Feb 21 2013, 12:27 AM) well that takes a little bit more time rite Of course. Or do a double degree in Computer Engineering + Business. Anyway, if you do a Diploma in IT, I'm not quite sure if this Diploma enables you to join a Business Degree.
