guys what do you think about going in the market now? i've been studying the trend for month, 6 months, 1 year and 5 years, and it appears quite favourable to enter now? my strategy is to enter small and steady sums by week. also planning to use maybank, because convenient for me via online maybank2u - though is the spread of UOB worth my while switching?

newbie btw, never traded before, but i have a few grand of cash that i don't want to put into the FD, and looking to grow it.

Jst for your info, u can't trade gold via Maybank2U...which means u need to go to the counter if u wish to buy/sell gold...

For online gold transaction only available at Public Bank. Even UOB does not have online transaction.

1) Of course first u need to have money
2) Read little bit (a lot would be better) about Gold Investment
3) Choose either to go on Physical or Paper gold
4) Buy low sell high (my opinion is to buy now), about selling, it is depend on your target.

Good luck bro

Spot price is something like raw price if i'm not wrong...usually we refer to the graph...and when they sell an end product, of course it will include all other cost i.e minting, marketing, overhead cost etc for each company.that is why all selling price is different from each companies/banks.
